I wonder if you experts could help me pick a 20th anniv ring?

I say wear it now and if your DH says anything, just smile and say 'but I'm going to keep you until then!"

Your ring is lovely I can wait to see pics!! Your grandmother's ring is lovely too!!

didn't see this until today. I love Grandma's ring! The pic isn't totally clear--is that a row of double emerald cuts?
My grandma's was an Edwardian filigree with an old cut diamond, I don't know exactly which type (old mine or OEC) that was something like 1.5 or 2 carats. Silly us, we didn't like much at the time (the 1970's), we wondered why it was white, why the diamond was set 'in' instead of very high set and why it didn't sparkle the same way as a modern diamond. (sigh)

I think if I'm going to be modeling, I should start using hand lotion.

aww I was hoping to see the photos of the Gemvara ring in person. :p chanced upon this thread searching for Gemvara rings. I'm thinking of buying my own Gemvara ring but wanted to see if it looks as nice in real life as it does on its website. Hopefully the OP sees this and posts some pictures, even 2+ years later. :smile1:
