Yes, I know they offer a complimentary 4cm lengthening, but then you have to take it a boutique, initiate a repair, wait for it to come back, etc. Come on, Cartier! Just make your chains adjustable to begin with and include a couple of jump rings—either 15-17 inches or 16-18 inches.

I recently took a necklace in to have another jump ring added. The process was free and it was a pleasant process but of course they didn’t add it where I wanted. I didn’t bother leaving it again.. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle!
