CONGRATULATIONS!!!! This is officially the most beautiful thread ever!

I love the ring, I think it's perfect for you guys - you might not have much money right now, because you've just graduated and it's a hard time for young professional in the first couple of years. But the ring is exquisite and it's a sign that you appreciate quality over quantity. I couldn't think of a better omen for your relationship!

Congratulations again, keep us posted!

Got the ring sized today - size 3 - and engraved with the date of the engagement - 10-1-07

We've been talking to family members and what not wedding-wise... I think we're sort of set for October 4th, 2008. We had initially thought of the 11th, being 11's sort of a big number in my family - I'm born on 4/11, my mother 3/11, and my brother 9/11 (:push:, I know) - but me and Steve decided we wanted our own day - and so the 4th is the first Saturday of October in 08 - so we think we want it as ours... hehe... we're going home to look at the church I have in mind this weekend to get it booked - and then no more wedding talk until after December, when we're done with school :p

I think it's brilliant!!! Who cares w hat your ring looks like if it is the ring for you! I think it's delightfully dainty and beautiful. :)

What is it with guys wanting larger diamonds. My hubby says that my new ring has to be bigger than my original. Sheesh. lol
