The leather on these bags is exactly what makes them so attractive to me. The unique and natural finish of these bags makes them really feel handmade and individual. Sometimes you get some imperfections, but them leather is a natural product with imperfections built in. I love both of the bags that I posted above, and would even pay full price for them (trust me, that's unusual for me

I absolutely love that woven hobo! BVs woven has such structure to it, but campomaggi woven has more of a bamboo weave to it!

TJ maXX NEVER gets campomaggis
Saw some new campomaggis for the summer! apparently they have another company named caterina lucchi that does more feminine type bags with the same antique-ing style. Interesting was a distressed travel bag, but dyed to have a faint camo motif...my jury is still out on it.
window of a boutique in florence. there are a few that offshoot from tornabuoni *the rodeo drive of florence* and i actually prefer those boutiques. don't know if campomaggi actually has pics of these on his site, but i have to say there is a distressed doctor's type bag that is tdf!!Oh! thanks for the info! where did you see them?

I got it from TK Maxx for £180, the smell of the leather is amazing and it's so thick and amazing. It is heavy but when you wear it as a satchel it is comfortable I love it soooo much, I think it's my favourite bag! Here's some pics of it:

Pierotucci.com has a number of beautiful Campomaggi. Whatever their distressing process is, this is the way distressed bags really ought to look with all the tonal variations.
