I now own a campomaggi bag & wallet.
The leather has almost...honey smell. Very nice & unique.
Was worried "distressed" & "celebrating imperfection" would mean abused & beat looking--VERY glad to be wrong! Much nicer quality than imagined. Thick leather, heavy hand-hammered studs, old world style.
It's a process, exploring these items--the bag's strap isn't a uniform width, the dye varies in tone(not patchy, but smooth transitions). The edges of pockets/flaps curve & curl.
Unlike my normal choice. Gives insight about how I select things, what I value, how I see the world.
Okay, these are pretty interesting bags, on many levels.
Now understand why so many covet them.

I used olive wood buttons to modify my new campomaggi bag's strap--marcopoloni asked to post my pics on their facebook page.
Not sure when will show up, though.
I recently bought 3 campomaggi bags because I didn't know how to choose. I purchased one leather congac satchel $640, a leather woven hobo in congac $750, and a small crossbody in a rustic light green color $375. I decided to keep the green one, because its more practical for me with all the travel I do commuting to work. Now I have two beautiful Campomaggi bags, that I'm not using, brand new with tags. I posted them on eBay so that I can try and get some of my money back hope they sell, its like a small fortune that i paid lol
