I just got a Rolex lady date just in YG and steel and I love it! I have gotten so many compliments. Depends on your skintone really, YG goes with tan and WG goes with lighter skintones. I advise you not to get RG if you have a lot of pink undertones in your skin. Since most of your jewelry is not RG then forget it.
Personally, I prefer YG mixed with steel. all over YG is a little too flashy. I think YG and steel are the best combination.

my parents have matching yellow gold presidents. the combo is way too OTT for me but, it's all personal preference.

i inherited a vintage stainless steel rolex from my grampa. it's low end in terms of rolex price value but, it's my # one loved piece of jewelery. (just don't tell my hubs that my engagement ring is #2.)

Some of the best jewelry I have, IMO, is that which carries a lot of sentimental value, not necessarily monetary value.

Purse-- can't believe I missed this thread! I have a pearlmaster--white gold, diamond bezel, diamond markers, black mop dial! It is a lovely watch! We could he watch twins!!

That's the exact watch DH was looking at for me! LOL.

I can't decide between that one and the one with the 12 diamond bezel, so it's a (little) less conspicuous. I LOVE the silver dials too. I don't know what to do. Maybe I'll just let him decide. Can't go wrong either way, right?!!?

Both of your watches are beautiful sbelle, I really think the pearlmaster you have is such a good combo. Purse you cannot go wrong regardless, its a gift from your DH. I think you should go with your gut and what you love, things go in and out of style all the time, your taste is classic :smile1:

^ITA! Luckily, DH sometimes knows what I like better than I do! :p He got me the Oyster Perpetual Pearlmaster w/silver dial, diamond markers and diamond bezel!!! :yahoo: I am absolutely in love with it! Thank you everyone for your advice!!
