Contemplating buying a bag I know is overpriced simply because I don't have the patience to wait for a better deal elsewhere. Am I alone in this? Layaway is also available on this particular site which is an attractive option. I know some of you out there are very disciplined but have any of you ever settled for a higher price in order to use layaway?

for me doing layaway would kind of defeat the purpose....you have to wait for the bag so why not wait for one at a better price? unless it's rare and you have to have this one
In my weird little world it would depend on how often you run across it and how long you have wanted it. I had to wait about 2 years for a H scarf in a particular color it popped up on TRR one morning but someone had reserved it, I hit refresh at least 500 times and bought it the moment it came off reserve, also been seeking the perfect red bag for at least three years. Sometimes a particular bag is everywhere then disappears for 2 years.
I saw it first a couple years ago and have seen at least three lately but they’ve all disappeared fairly quickly. I know exactly what you mean, we seem to inhabit the same weird little world...
