There have been several discussions on this on the board regarding this topic. There are several of us who have made purchases over $250 and not gotten thank you notes. And who have made purchases for less than $250 and GOTTEN them. Official policy may be you get them at $250...but several stores/SAs seem not to follow the official policy.

:shrugs: I hear ya Shellbell...It seems to me that there is no Coach policy...I am kind of upset about this becasue everytime I've purchased something I thought I WAS in their system....And from what I'm reading here..It seems that the 'rules' vary....I don't get it....I'm going into my store next week to see what's up.....:heart: Emmy

Last time there was the in-store 25% off, someone called their store and they said it was only in some stores. But I don't think this is the 25% off card you receive in mail.

Everytime I purchase from the Coach store I always spend well over $250.00 & have never recieved a thank you card. But I have gotten the last 2 25% off cards just not this one yet. I am in their system apparently b/c my name shows up on all my receipts & I do use the same CC. I don't think all the SAs follow the Coach policy, I was at the Fair Oaks store over the weekend & one of the SA were writing up 2 thank you cards, I couldn't help it but think why I never get one. Not unless corporate is becoming strict & now they really enforce it..who knows?!

I've only gotten a thank you card once from Coach, and that was the Fair Oaks store about a year ago (returned an outlet bag for store credit, then spent that plus $100 more to get another bag and matching phone case). I wonder if it was because it was over $250 *and* it was more than one item (recalling a previous post here about how Coach SAs would rather you bought 2 cheaper items than one expensive one, because they track units sold more than total $$).

All I know is I'm afraid to not use the card, for fear of never getting one again. :p

yes. if there is a certain style you want, just let your SA know. they should be more then happy to help.

there is this ONE tote i saw coming up in outlet that i like, its bag, it has long straps to carry, but its suede (dark color) with leather trim.

as of now, besides the legacy bag i don't see anything that matches your description coming up (besides the leather totes and pebble carry on on the floor)

but outlet also has the leather tote, i hope there is a huge size but so far they have book tote sizes.

sorry. i'm somewhat new to the board if you'd see the sideline, and i haven't gotten past page one of this coach section.

it is the offical policy but this only works if they take down your information.

i know they have a whole guideline, as well as a report for the individual sales associate as well as manager (to keep track of their thank you note cards)

so there is no reason you wouldn't give it if you gave them all your information, etc.

it is 250 before tax though. and this is suspended during the holiday season, around november to the start of january or february because of the holiday season it gets crazy. so during those times you wouldn't get one.

and you also don't get one if you are exchanging.

it is more enforced now but honestly it's the SA's loss, a thank you card is a chance for them to...well..in the sales business it's always about selling more isn't it?

I've gotten 2 thank you cards. I've spent thousands in the past year with coach. So I'll be calling or walking in there tomorrow asking them whether there is a 25 percent coupon and if so why I haven't received it. I'm beginning to get upset that everyone else keeps getting things and I don't.

I'm sorry, but as I said in my last post. I've spent thousands. Everytime I walk out the store I don't think I leave without spending 300 bucks. They take my info each and everytime. So if it were 250 dollars, I would be getting a lot more thank you cards.

FWIW I got a voice mail message from the Fair Oaks Coach store today (while I was at work) telling me that I can bring my "invitation card" in this weekend to pre-order anything I want to buy with it (with an imprint of my credit card, of course), and that they will then ship those items to me free of charge (shipping charge, that is). Then I can still come in during the actual event with the same card and use it again to pick up anything else I might want.

Methinks this is their way of getting around the fact that they don't have the embossed stuff in stock (and Tysons Galleria does!). Gotta give them credit -- it does mean that I'll probably stop in there this weekend when I hadn't originally planned it. (But I'll still hit Tysons Galleria Coach next weekend because They Have Shoes. <evil cackle>)

um, region is a state thing more then anything. sometimes it's even just a part of a state.

my store had one, same as her, where the best of the best gets to preorder before everyone else (the embossed really is limited, 9 more wristlets left in the red, about 250 in the tobacco...bags were about 200-300) and then they get to use it one more time.

anyways, when we had it, it was for our "area" specifically only a handful of cities.

you guys are from two different states.

Oooh, ooo, I'm the best of the best? Wow. :P I bet my DH would shudder if he knew.

Sad to hear the embossed is so limited, though. Sure hope I can at least get a flap wristlet with my card (and something else, so I get that two item requirement covered. LOL)

I haven't received mine yet in Vegas...I have gotten them the last 2 times so I'm hoping it comes this weekend. I will be shocked if I don't I spent over 1000 last time I got a card and 800.00 the card before that. I really want one. I have a list of things I want to buy.
