@lorihmatthews, what kind of pricing was your outlet offering on the leopard ponyhair rogue? My outlet was offering 50% off plus another 20% if you spend at least $150, so the overall discount was about 60% and I wall very happy to get that much off on such a pricey bag!
Beautiful bag and wonderful you got it at such a great price- what a nice SA to go beyond the call of duty to find the bag for you. This is such a rich basic colorway- the marine+gold- I think there all kinds of possibilities with accents. The starfish is beautiful- I think any of the NASA space charms would work (deep space look!) or a twilly-kind of scarf for a pop of color. So many options- enjoy!

Thank you all, and especially @Suzanne B. for finding the Starfish pendant (and also the Frog pendant - it's adorable!) I hesitated to buy the starfish at first because the picture on the listing was poor and I couldn't find a good picture of the pendant. But they are rare and I am glad that I decided to buy it.
It was difficult to find a good charm for the dark denim rogue. I usually try to match the hardware on the bag to the fob but not always, if the fob that I think looks best has a different color hardware then I pick the best charm IMO. But this bag has a lot going on and adding another color hardware made it look very busy. Plus, the thick hardware rings at the base of the handles don't work well with the attachment hardware on many fobs. The opening is too small to attach, or the fob sticks out at a funny angle when you attach it.
I tried most of my gold fobs and they didn't look quite right because of the different color gold hardware or sometimes the subject of the charm wasn't a good match - like some of my more decorative and fancy charms.
I have charms with hardware that are gold, light gold, antique gold, brass, rosegold and silver, and none of them worked well with the gold on this bag.
I didn't know the meaning of the "OL" hardware code on the style number so I "chatted with a specialist" on the Coach.com website and she told me that OL stands for "old gold" - who knew?
I was just about to use my gold leather Koi fish charm on a gold ball chain - and I think it looked okay, when I remembered my new starfish pendant. As soon as I tried it I thought that it was the best option. It doesn't exactly match but it goes well with both the bag and the hardware IMO.
Anyway, I am very happy with my beautiful new bag at a great price and my lovely new starfish pendant!

Interesting tidbit about OL, I never knew and I've seen that before on my bags as well. It's a nice color.
The nice thing about bag charms is that it's not a commitment. I love your choice but maybe in a year you'll want to add something else or get another charm. Charms can make old bags feel new and sometimes just seeing a cute rexy or a little starfish can lift your mood
Sounds like my outlet was offering the same. The bag was 50% off plus an additional 20%. I knew I'd never be able to find that price on that bag anywhere else, so I went for it.
Just to add to that: the best deal I got lately on items from retail at outlets was
20% retail price + 50% whole store + 10% off when spending $500+
My $850 dinky rung up for around $300 + tax
Yea, that's all my outlet was offering a few days ago on deletes. Only 20% off with an additional 50% off.
On a separate note, the SA was actually calling the deletes 'deletes'. First time I've ever heard them actually call them that. Most of the time they just called them retail bags or discontinued bags.

Yes, just my humble opinion that the dinkys seem to be really pricey for their size ...
I can definitely see your point, many things in stores these days seem to getting more expensive while quality has been going downhill (not Coach but as a general trend). And a dinky priced as high as some rogues also seems high. However, in defense of this particular dinky: it was the bigger dinky 24 with embroidery, genuine python skin and mixed leather patchwork so I don't think this one isn't particularly overpriced. Also a lot of companies that are considered more luxurious have way higher price points for things that aren't elaborate and not always better quality / design. I can post some photos once my replacement comes in (outlet shipping issues...sigh)
