I feel like a lot of designers are running out of ideas. Honestly, the It Bag era from around '06 was the best because there were so many amazing bags in the most amazing leathers...it's a by gone era now. The quality of the leather has gone down hill since then with most brands (excluding Hermes for obvious reasons). I buy all my bags in the second hand market. The only new bag I bought was my Coach Rogue. So sad!!
I'm honestly so sad that Balenciaga is heading in this weird direction. I honestly think the brand can do so much with their motorcycle line. Color is a huge specialty for them and they could've introduced different prints..then mix and match them. Maybe even switch up the shoulder strap for more customization like all other brands are doing nowadays. Offer more variety in accessories..like bring back the motorcyle style coin purse, mini coin purse, keychain, card wallet, etc. They could create a chain-like version of their moto bag. I don't know..so much potential and instead we get printed cats and dogs. No offense, but Demna's gotta go as I don't think his aesthetic matches Balenciaga tbqh.

You guys! I never thought I would be posting this but here it is; my lunch bag. I pack my lunch for work every day. I am a therapist working with school age children and adolescents. The kids/teachers/parents I work with love my lunch bag and so do I. I bought it because the kitten is a carbon copy for my beloved cat Pumpkin, who is no longer with me. I adored him beyond belief and he will be in my heart forever. I am a major cat person. I would totally buy that bag IF it was fifty dollars or less and I would use it for work, but definitely NOT as a fashion statement. I actually think my lunch bag is cuter than the Balenciaga.

My daughter's cat is named Pumpkin. It's an adorable name. The dog looks like my Dusty who has been gone for years and I miss him terribly. Your bag is much cuter than the Bal.You guys!
