If the Nikki really is as big as you say, then I think you've talked me out if the desire. And I do love my small cross bodies so I'llthen just be sticking to what I know I'll use.

On another note, I wasn't much of a fan of the Eddie when I saw it, but this just came in an email I got today and I must say I do like it in this color.

That Eddie is beautiful! Love the color.

The Nikki I had tried on was my orange haze, it is not very slouchy so looks bigger. However my teal Nikki is very slouchy and looks smaller. There is also a mini Nikki you may like better.

I’ve been on the hunt and finally got my bird print in a small bag! The leather is perfect, the studs are good, there’s no bad odor, the price was in my range, but the lining was far more brown than I thought it would be, so I was disappointed! For me this bag was more about those darn birds!

I looked on line and read baking soda was good to clean purse linings. Figured it would at least be worth a shot but didn’t have high hopes. So, I pulled the lining out and mixed baking soda with some peroxide to make a paste and brushed it all over. Then waited about 20 minutes and washed it.

I am thrilled at how it turned out. I didn’t take a before picture because I didn’t think it would work, but below is the one from the seller (it looked worse in person) and the others are mine after my success. There’s still is some dingy-ness near the zipper but I can always repete now that I know this works. I wouldn’t be afraid to buy something again with not-so-pristine liner.

Now, there’s a mab mini mini I’ve been eyeing that I know I really don’t need!

I am not sure how this has happened, but this thread has made me completely obsessed with these purses. Frankly, the hefty used discount is very enticing as is the quest for the older linings! I have five on the way! I'll post pics when I get them. Darn you all! Hahah!

The prices make it easy...TOO easy! And the hunt is so much fun especially when you have some special in mind.

The silver bag is a mac. It's 11"x8"x2". The mini is 9"x6"x2". The easiest way to tell them apart is a mac has 5 feet and a mini has 4.
Here's a few pictures of the difference and what they fit. Ideally I like to always have a thin wallet, coin purse, zip purse, gum, compact hairbrush, and a pen. I also carry tissues, my phone and car keys.

The mini mac fits all those things and the mac leaves plenty of room for a sunglass case a a few other things if needed.

Love it.

Your picture of the tan and black woven one has changed my mind on that design. I never realized that’s how it was executed. It looks a lot cooler than I initially thought.

I’ve been looking for a mab mini mini with the old hardware like you got, but haven’t seen one in a price/color for me...however,I just ordered one off the real real for a total of $24. It’s the new hardwear and doesn’t have a strap, but lest be honest, I have plenty of straps and couldn’t pass it up at that price.
