Don't stress! Be glad you aren't being a fashion victim and just going with what seems fab at the time. There are alot of fans of the Damier and since it's new release we are enjoying hearing about their new aquisitions. Just cause it sounded good and was diferent IRL for you, is not a bad thing. There are soooo many other fun LV bags out there, be happy, you didn't lose a bag, you gained credit for a new one!!!!

I desperately wanted the Damier Papillon 30 and when I *finally* got it, I returned it 4 hours later. Just didn't love it. I love the Damier check but I think it's the leather that I don't care for... not sure really since it's been a couple of months now...
Finally bought a Prada in the same shape as the Papillon -- I hope I love it! Waiting for it to arrive!
I desperately wanted the Damier Papillon 30 and when I *finally* got it, I returned it 4 hours later. Just didn't love it. I love the Damier check but I think it's the leather that I don't care for... not sure really since it's been a couple of months now...

The sag would drive me crazy. It is a beautiful bag but I would return it too. Sorry to hear this but glad to know this before I buy it-another reason I love this forum
There's no such thing as failure when it comes to LV. I love my Damier Speedy but it's my first one, so I wasn't already used to the Mono heavier canvas and light-colored leather.
Bottom line though - if you don't love it, send it back! Life is too short (and LV is too pricey) to feel guilty about not liking something just because everyone else does. Your hard-earned cash will be much better spent on something you love and use all the time.

Don't feel bad, I'm returning my damier speedy 30 as well and for the same reason- It's not really me and I know I'll never use it. I feel really bad becasue my SA just found me a fringe bucket at another saks store (so her store does not get credit for the sale) and now I'm returning the speedy so I can apply that money towards the fringe bag.
