From what I've read the Hall of Fame doesn't physically exist with the WWE. They have a ceremony and they get a ring but it's not like there's some building with memorabilia in it. The WWE has no problem associating with Steve Austin who was arrested for beating his wife so I doubt they will shun Hogan forever.

True.. It's really just a list of names that his is no longer a part of and when the wwe needs something they will bring him back and I'm sure he will go because I don't think he will turn the money down. Your point with Steve just makes my point that they are not consistent in their associations so I don't buy their disassociation now.

Eta: it seems like the wwe hijacked the story to get press...which is messed up.

I almost never read anything about Hulk Hogan but I saw the title of this thread and thought WTF... with each page the WTF got more and more incredulous. Wow this guy...... what a disgusting individual.

The WWE is all about money, they'll welcome him back if it suits them financially...imo.

Yup... but a perfect illustration of who they are.

What a terrible, racist thing to say. Not only that, but why do some parents think that they should have a say in who their adult children date?

I know right? I dont understand why some parents behave this way. My dad did this to me. I got close with a black guy and my dad picked up the phone while he was on it and unleashed a hell storm. I had to sneak going out with him but ultimately I held back and didn't date him because he was black( not my own choice because of my dad). I was of course only 16/17 at the time and still living at home so I didn't have a choice.

I honestly didn't even know he was still working let alone for the wwe. The last I've heard about him was when he got divorced and both him and his ex wife were dating kids. There is no defending what he said it was wrong. But let's be real he's in his 60's now and was in his 50's when he made this statement he's clearly not going to change his mind on the issue.

I also agree with the other posters who said it sounds like he didn't like whoever his daughter was dating at the time. More of a rant of his issues with his daughters behavior. He probably feels so possessive over her because she needs it. It's not like she has a talent or career to fall back on too people. He probably wants her to marry into money so he doesn't have to take care of her forever.

Race should not be a determining factor of someone's character. Just sayin'.

Not only that… let her date whomever she wants. She's an adult and she can make her own decisions. People should let their children (once they're young adults or adults) make their own choices and mistakes so that they learn on their own, and not guard over their personal/sex lives. What good does that do? One day you're going to be dead and your children aren't going to know what to do with themselves because you made all of their choices for them.

I know your story all too well, I grew up in rural West Virginia. A few of my Caucasian female friends were pulled out of junior high/high school and sent of to a neighboring one further away (that was all-white) if their parents found out they were flirting with/dating a black guy.

Its really terrible. I also didn't understand my dad because he is dark skinned himself and dealt with discrimination because of it so why couldn't he realize that discrimination against all groups are wrong is beyond me.

I know what is Brooke doing now? Her music career didn't really take off, and I don't see her having a ton of talent in that category, so I hope that she is actually doing something productive now.....She had her own show a long time ago for a few months there and it was cute, I saw like one or two episodes of it, but I don't think she's been doing any acting work since that.
