I used to buy shoes from there until they all started falling apart on me....I'll never buy from there again!!

BUT....I don't think there's anything wrong with shopping there and I certainly don't think it makes you "cheap". It's nice to see someone famous that is still down to earth enough to shop at that type of store.

Personally Ive never shopped @ payless. But there are plenty of people out there that do, and are happy with it, so good for them.

You get what you pay for. Certain places that I shop, I know I'm only going to get one to 4 wears out of them. That's why I shop where I shop. I don't always buy from Saks, but at least I know when I get something from Macys I'm going to have it for years to come.

Payless has great flip flops. I've stopped there on more than one occasion to look for strappy heels because my very expensive shoes that I purchased at either Macy's or Nordstroms broke on the way to a party or an evening out.

If I do buy a pair of shoes there and they break or are coming apart in a month, I don't get upset. Now, if I spend over $150 on a pair of heels and the strap breaks the first time I put them on, then I'll be very pissed off.

Trust me, I have 5 pairs of designer heels in my closet that turned out to be real lemons. On the other hand, a pair of heels I bought at Payless almost 5 years ago are still going strong.

If Brooke likes to shop there, more power to her. To bad the paparazzi busted her, though.
