well when it comes to young women, apparently not...many coming out
But when it comes to older men who want to be lead actors, apparently they do care...John Travolta? Tom Cruise? (although nothing specific every came out about him)

Pretty sure the only ones that care are the stars themselves that live in some paranoid delusion that they will never make another movie if they come out. Hugh Jackman is absolutely one who I bet would have even more success. It sounds like the NDA might be more about inappropriate behavior with underage men, and if people can be bought to keep that a secret it seems nearly as disgusting as the act itself.

I doubt he could have been Wolverine, though.
Anyways, I have known many closeted men and women, and it is no way to live.

Hugh Jackman, Pierce Brosnan, Sting, and a few others are the ones I've always thought are a little fake. I always get a feeling that they are super professional, wants perfect image but are living lives that nobody knows about....

Matt Bomer is gay and has been in all kinds of straight playing roles where he is the "hunk." If they are good looking and a good enough actor, they will still be cast. I doubt he would have missed out on Wolverine because he was gay. Even if he did, it's not like that's been his only major gig.
