And I could NOT be happier. I have never encountered such beautiful leather. Like, EVER. I will be snuggling with this like it's a teddy bear instead of paying attention during business meetings.
I also got a key fob and a couple of leather pouches and they are equally fine.

Very nice! tribe leather is fantastic! i own a bag in it. Right now i am in one their pebbled leather bags so chewy/thick.
Glad your happy with it. May not be "designer" but frankly the brand is is quite capable of competing with them regardless.
They could if they had the leather, but sadly their leather factory is all out. I'll just wait to see if they receive a new and interesting leather. With their current leathers, I was thinking maybe pongo for the main body of the bag and tribe for the straps.

FYI for those looking at anything made in their patent piano leather, it is all made in China. :/
Darn, talk about being blocked at all levels lol. Hmm yes, i can see pongo and tribe... what about horween ?
The horween leather is pretty glossy and picks up scratches like crazy so for a tote that I'd be using to carry around odd stuff to and from the car, I'd prefer something a bit more rugged.

Are their any bags in it? most of the wallets and such are made in China... though quite a few of the pouches, wristlets, coins purses are still made in Canada.
They are all SLGS. But even the items from previous years in piano were made in china. I wouldn't be surprised if their supplier of the patent leather is China vs Italy for their other leathers.
Understand. I have some glove tanned Coach and it shows scratches too but they don't bother me.. the horween is higher gloss for sure. The pebbled leathers they do are strong, low maintenance too.
I would totally go for this bag in cobalt and black horween with green stitching and lining to match my duffle

Hard to say, i suppose one could inquire. It would be a change though since most is Italy sourced leathers.
Pretty much but when I asked where it was manufactured in the store, they beat around the bush the same way they did when I inquired where their sheepskin lined boots were produced. (Eventually got an answer from corporate: India).
