A while ago one of my friends lived for a year in Canada. She came home with two Roots bags. One is a version of the Olivia. She uses her every single day. The bag ages beautifully. Really well made bags. The leather is wonderful!

I have an nice mix ofcontemporay and premium designers that I enjoy. I also have to say that with the roots back pack it is kinda like one big hole with a few very deep pockets but some of my vera bradely cosmetic cases inside help her organize that quite well. Adds a nice touch of color and pop to the inside. :-)

It's maddening, it's one thing to pay for quality that is designer but quite another to merely pay for the designer aspect, for some perhaps that is the priority but for me it is not, i want a purse that stands up and is worthy of my dollars.

The VB idea sounds great! i love colourful accessories inside a purse, helps you find things lol

I have not but personally i would opt for a pop of color, i find not only is it refreshing to open a bag and see that BUT it helps me locate things faster.

yes, i have.. which one were you looking for? it's a nice leather a bit smoother than I prefer i admit to being more a fan of a pebbled leather..

Cannot find the model i was looking at online.. off to google lol

I wanted the side saddle bag, but looking at the zoomed in pics online shows that this leather will get scratchy fast. I'm more of a pebbled leather fan too, so I decided to get the Prince leather one, but it was sold out at the store I went to and I definitely wanted to see how it looked in person. Argh. And another bag I missed out on was the Gisele that they had in their ad campaign and on instagram. I stalked their website for a month, and it never came up for sale. What a fwp, but it really seems like Roots and me aren't meant to be. I'm going to ignore their website for a few weeks, hopefully I'll have a chance at a Gisele again.
