I purchased the Londoner Prince Leather bag 1 year ago and have used it almost everyday. Great work purse.

I'm interested in getting a tan coloured purse and looking at the Small Grace Bag Kalahari. Anyone have it or know of any reviews?

Has anyone custom ordered a roots purse? I really like the London box purse I have. Thinking about custom ordering it in a tan leather and looking for ideas on what colour lining I should have inside.

I live in the US. No Roots. But I do have a 1st or 2nd season MK bag. The leather is awesome. I have an MK collection bag I snagged for 60%. Great leather as well. The newer bags...not as much. But I feel that way about many many brands. There are some higher-end contemporary bags that feel very cheap.

Price and leather quality do not line up very well any more.

Yes, your quite right.. i think as per usual each item varies... they were likely being quite general but the key to the issue is the quality of the popular brands is declining while prices continue to rise.

We have one Roots bag. I purchased it for my 4th grade daughter to go to school because o was tired of spending money on crappy ones that didn't even last half a school year. She is not even rough on her bags yet. Lol. After several months of use her back pack is awesome. It's really well made and the kind of bag I can see her heading to highschool with. Even college! I have good things to say about that product and I would totally buy a bag from them for me.

;) I have a purse from them that is fairly old coming close to 10yrs now.. they last, you just keep the leather conditioned, i do see with some of the lines coming more details which hopefully will aid them in being more competitive, they are really good value and seeing the decline of the quality of the leathers found on some of the designer bags? a welcome change to actually getting more for what your paying for besides a name.

Agreed. I love a quality piece. I am totally willing to pay for it. All these threads of high end designers making a lesser product from previous years whilst increased the pieces is quite maddening. I have an nice mix ofcontemporay and premium designers that I enjoy. I also have to say that with the roots back pack it is kinda like one big hole with a few very deep pockets but some of my vera bradely cosmetic cases inside help her organize that quite well. Adds a nice touch of color and pop to the inside. :-)
