Thanks for the response!! I wonder if that's as "worn in" looking as it gets.

I remember seeing one on eBay that looked REALLY worn. It looked like someone had scrunched it up into a ball and trampled on it a couple times. Not sure if they naturally get like that or if this person treated it particularly badly.

Same!! I wonder if people are just not taking care of their bags or that's how they wear so I'm just a little concerned

I've had my small black/blu tote since May, and I've used it quite a bit but it still looks just as good as new. I am quite careful with my bags though.

I'm glad to hear! I have a camello/rosa mini bucket I've been using regularly this entire year and I wondered how the black wears in comparison. I'm careful with my bags as well!

That's definitely not how they wear. At least in my experience.

So relieved to hear that! :sweatdrop:

Ooh, thanks for the picture! It's quite a bit darker from the strap. I also just saw from the other thread you shipped to Singapore too so just wondering where do you buy the Apple Leather Conditioner here? And it's supposed to help even out scratches and the tanning process?

Here's where I got the Apple products: http://www.lovingyourbags.com/products/category/bag-care-2/leather-2

Besides the conditioner I also got the rain and stain protectant spray. I used it on my brandy mini bucket before the first application of the conditioner. (And since I already had to spread old newspapers on my front porch before spraying, I also took the opportunity to rain-proof my husband's Tods loafers and Paul Smith leather sneakers :laugh: )

I re-apply the conditioner every 7-10 days to help buff out the scratches, and yes it also gives the patina a bit of a boost each time. The scratches do bother me a bit as they show up as light lines on the dark leather, so conditioning weekly goes a long way towards 'blending' them in.

^ thanks for the link and tips. i hadn't thought the brandy would show up scratches more, was planning to use it more as a casual weekend/day bag on trips (ie alot rougher use than day to day sitting in the office drawer or car). think i'd best try to protect it asap too although today, i've excitedly brought it out to work already. :giggles:

Don't worry too much about it. I went out in the RAIN with my brandy mini before I treated and conditioned it; there was no lasting damage. And I know some others on this forum have no issues with the scratches. :smile1:

I have a Camello/Antico that I have used every single day since April this year for a a total of 7 months.

It has been used in rain and shine, left in the car in 50 degree Centigrade temperature, kept on floors of hospitals and at home, shoved under the airplane seats, squeezed into shared lockers, tossed in the car and fallen down, been scratched by my cat, carried it for my photography assignments and left it on all sorts of surfaces, grazed on walls and all sorts of surfaces, used to carry food for the stray cats, carried my lunch and sometimes even for small grocery runs and on and on and on. Basically, I have used it like a bag was meant to be used without thinking much about it. :D

I am attaching pictures of the front and back as well as the corners. There is quite some wear and tear but is completely expected since I have used it every single day for 200 days without a break. It is specially noticeable at the corners. The bag has a beautiful patina and almost looks like a lighter version of the Brandy

Overall I am so pleased with the quality of the bag. Trust me, I have literally used it like a $ 10 bag and it has held up SO WELL. The wear at the corners is not as noticeable in real life as it is in photos. Also keep in mind that these pics were taken under fluorescent lighting. It looks much better in daylight with a healthy sheen.

let me know what you guys think

That's great feedback! I just got my Bucket Bag in Cammello and have been curious on how well it will hold up, I am planning to use it as a daily bag like you do. You did not use any leather conditioner, right?
