For a while I was wondering if I should've gotten a Cammello bucket bag - I'm glad I got the Brandy instead, after looking at these I don't think the Cammello's patina would deepen nearly quick enough for my liking!!
Hi, do u have a picture of how deep your brandy's patina has gotten?
I ordered the mini brandy/Cleo bucket at the latest restock only as I already have a cammello ladybag on pre-order. But after having heard from another thread here that the stockist I pre-order from, previously treated the bags so the patina effect isn't that apparent, I have my hopes placed on my incoming brandy now to develop that much-wanted patina.
I posted a comparison photo sometime back! I don't think the colour has deepened very much more ever since though.
Is it LaPrendo that's been treating the bags? So glad I didn't buy from them. I've had good experiences with them before when I wanted a HTF Victoria Beckham bag, but I don't like the idea of them messing with the bags...
I am glad you posted the link. I think I'll be fine with the brandy being coated. I have found the brandy stains the most (in my experience) and more oil based stains, if that makes sense, so it might be good in a way. At least that is what I am telling myself now...
I purchased mine from LaPrendo and it has gotten darker! I bought mine in July so hopefully they didnt change their policy!
Posted it a few pages back and here is a before/after of my bag after 3 months of wear.

Ooh, thanks for the picture! It's quite a bit darker from the strap. I also just saw from the other thread you shipped to Singapore too so just wondering where do you buy the Apple Leather Conditioner here? And it's supposed to help even out scratches and the tanning process?
And yes, it's LaPrendo. They've always been very nice on the phone and their shop seems lovely. I'd hate to think they are messing with the MG bags with the treatment too but in any case I've already made my pre-order with them awhile back for the Dec delivery so I'll just wait till I get it and see how it turns out. [emoji4]

I'm not sure which batch LaPrendo requested for the treatment from and not sure if it will be so for mine which is a pre-order a couple of months back for delivery in Dec. will update I suppose when I get that one![emoji4]

I agree with you on the Brandy. Out of all my bags it shows stains and scratches the most.
I use Bick4 leather conditioner on it (http://www.amazon.com/Leather-Conditioner-Bick-Bickmore-since/dp/B002HOK50M), it also really helped to blend in scratches when I found out my cardigan scratched the back pretty badly!
I also used Roots Rain and Stain Protector on it and haven't had issues with dye transfer or water marks the few times it's been caught in the rain. I nearly had a heart attack because it made marks on it at first but disappears as it dries (I'd still do a test patch on the back of the strap to be safe)
