Mansur Gavriel How's it Wearing? Show us your Broken-in/Patina'd bags

I finally managed to get a proper closer to life picture of my bag in natural sunlight. Left pic is from the week I received the bag. Right pic is now. It looks dark and rich and I LOVE the beautiful patina. It looks like it has lived a life and its scuffs and marks are its stories. And if you read a few posts above on how I treated the bag, the wear is hardly anything.

It has held up SO well for using it continuously for 200 days at a stretch. It is a workhorse and looks strong enough for a few years:smile1:

This bag is amazing for its price. I have a black/flamma too that has not seen the light of day since I got the camello/antico

Beautiful and I love how you use your bag. I have exactly the same philosophy and yes, the corners of my cammello are getting worn quickly and there are scratches and some marks but the patina is getting more beautiful every day. I get so many compliments on this bag and it gives me so much joy. It's nice not to feel too precious about it and appreciate it for what it is.

I still do use my black/blu bucket a lot too -- love both colour combos and sometimes black just works better for me. Cammello shows wear more, no doubt, but it's the patina that adds so much character.

Beautiful collection! I'm wondering, how did you protect your Rosa colored buckets? I currently have one and unfortunately got some color transfer on it from a pair of jeans. Any recommendations on how to clean it? TIA!

Hi, all! TPF newbie here. I am planning to getting a MG large tote to use as a diaper bag/mom tote. I am not great at babying bags normally, and considering that this will be filled with baby paraphernalia, it's definitely going to be well-loved/beaten up. But for the life of me I cannot decide between cammello and brandy. I read this thread (thank you all for posting your pics!) and at each cammello pic, I was like, "okay that's just gorgeous. def getting cammello" but then I'd see a brandy and change my mind because they're so pretty too! I think I'm leaning cammello but I worry that it's not a year-round color. For those of you with cammello bags, do you use them in the winter too? I'm in Texas so our "winter" is like 2 months.
