@Louish, l love both wg and yg on you!
Thank you! I think my skin tone is pretty neutral as all metals look nice but my favourite are silver/WG & rose gold (only 18k though, otherwise I find it too pink). Unfortunately though most affordable jewellery seems to be in YG! I will just have to get used to mixing more

My jewelry style is all over the map, but I know that I tend to gravitate and prefer bezel set stones. I've chased that perfect piece all my life--the one that I could wear every day and is symbolic of me and who I am, but I've never found it. I thought it would be the Trinity Cartier bracelet, but I rarely wear it. I thought it would be a ring, but it isn't. Frustrating. Lately, I've been collecting VCA Alhambra. It is expensive and I only have a few pieces, but that seems to be what I am liking right now, more than anything else with one exception: I love giant beautiful gemstones, though I do not have anything particularly rare or of true value.

I guess I do tend toward modern style rather than "romantic." Most of my pieces don't have a lot of frills or curliques -- and are reasonably bold in their design.

I would say very minimalist. I don't change my jewellery except sometimes my earrings and they have to be 24kt. My ears get a bad reaction to even 18kt. I wear the same bangle, bracelet and necklace everyday and they are for cultural and religious reasons, so I don't remove them. I barely have a jewellery collection! lol

Sounds like you have a well curated, meaningful collection; which is admirable. :ps:

My jewellery style is not a lot of pieces day to day but I like colour and statement pieces.
My ride or die day jewellery is rings. I usually have at least one on. I love wearing carved stones as thumb rings. I have several agates, howlite, lapis and a malachite. I love cocktail rings. Emerald cut is my number 1 shape.

I also like nature themed shapes. I have several flower shapes and a Pearl on a gold nest ring.

I wear a watch most days but I don’t like mine that much but it works *shrug* it’s because it’s a two tone watch and I don’t actually like mixing metals.

I go back and forth on bracelets and necklaces. Sometimes I like them and sometimes I find it annoying. I do love lockets and charm bracelets though. And I have a weakness for vintage matinee beads and brooches although they are extremely unfashionable!

If you are designing for yourself, that is a jewelry line to sell to others, then you have to design what's in your heart. If you are designing for someone else, either custom jewelry or for a company, then you have to design what's in their heart. Remember, you're an artist. What is good to you may be awful to someone else. I never did understand the fascination of Andy Warhol's Campbell's soup can!
