My Epsom Birkin is slowly starting to develop creases on the sides of the bag. The area that folds when the bag is closed. I was thinking of storing the bags fully open to stop the creasing. Any other suggestions?

hmm darling this is the nature of epsom don't over stuff the bag or the shape will change pushing the beautiful returnee pipping out making the bag look like a football.... the creases are rather good because they will help the bag either bat wing or wear semi/Ferme perfectly. also may i suggest keeping it stored with a bag organizer because once epsom sinks in towards the center its not the best effect on epsom, bags.

enjoy and let her evolve naturally they really do know what they are doing at H. epsom included.

These two photos of my, admittedly unlined, HAC from 1987 clearly show the crease lines made at the point of construction to encourage the sides of the bag to fold neatly.

I would only be concerned if there were to be cracking of the surface of the leather.
