How can I polish Hermes hardware at home? I have a few scratches on the metal that I would like to take care of myself without having to pay a lot for it. Any advice?

I would say polishing cloth for tarnish and to shine but other than that, probably not much you can do without taking the plating off. Have you taken your bag into Hermes? I would think the only remedy for deep scratches (past the plating) is hardware replacement.
Okey, I will just use til polishing cloth for the tarnish - because some of mye hardware started to tarnish due to long lasting plastic on the hardware - super sad, but it has to be done. Do you know how much hardware replacement cost?
