How to keep the metal parts shine?

I got the used bag on e-bay and the metal parts are covered in patina. I would like to make them nice and shine again, but I don't want to scratch it. So maybe somebody can give me some advise about the products or methods to make my bag nice and shine.

It is a Fendi Cashmere Baguette, it is very nice I will post some pic tomorrow, I was trying to take them today but they came out blurry so I will try with the day light
