Cheaper than getting neck fat graft or a neck lift, I ate cake for breakfast for a week! My skinny neck just needed fat volume and now looks fine!

Taking a selfie trying on shades in a store. I must say I am struggling with brown hair which makes me look older. I miss my blonde hair!

OMG! Dr Karam is charging $170,000 for all the ops (facelift, lip lift, fat graft and upper lid bleph) I had for a lot less elsewhere! £3495 VR FL, £2500 lip lift, £2k facial fat graft+top up, £1667 upper lid bleph+lid fat graft totals = £9,662 or $12,000? That’s a savings of $158,000! And I had smas FL so did not cut my facial retaining ligaments with deep plane. I can’t believe he operated on his wife and have her a deep plane facelift with fat graft!

I saw the pics of his wife's progress on his IG (https://www.instagram.com/dramirkaram/), it will be interesting to see how it holds up over time. BTW the thing I noticed immediately are her eyes still look very sunken, I'm surprised he didn't use more fat graft there.

You’re becoming an expert @Gats! Precisely my thoughts! US plastic surgeons don’t put fat graft in the sunken hollow upper lids! Only Korean plastic surgeons have the experience and know how so US ladies cannot look 20s! lol.

I am in many facelift facebook groups and noticed more ladies are signing up for smas facelifts now! Wow. And one was 71! I am definitely sticking with smas facelifts. Ladies are saying it lasts 20-30 years, ie their elderly relatives had it 20-30 years ago! At this rate my next one may well be at age 71! lol.

I then saw a 2Y update on a British lady who had deep plane face and neck lift with a London surgeon and her face has sagged with return of jowls and nasolabial folds. It is such a shame she took out a loan to pay for her expensive DP and did not know to take postop steroids. She may not have complained within a year to be able to argue for a 50% refund or a free revision or maybe she did and was refused both.

Do join facebook groups for both US and UK facelifts, respectively. You will get a wealth of research by learning from facelift journeys already taken. This is where I learned about Nick Rhodes of Coppergate Clinic!

Remember your first facelift should be a vertical macs lift or a smas facelift and your last a deep plane. You wouldn’t rush into a total knee or hip replacement in your 30s or 40s? And imagine how difficult a revision would be to try to drill out the metal implant that has been cemented into your bone. Revision deep plane is extremely difficult, time consuming, lengthy, and very dangerous trying to cut scar tissue near the branches of the facial nerve that many British surgeons will not take on a revision DP case. I shudder to think what will happen if a lady has not reached menopause or experienced menoface yet but has already had an invasive deep plane face and neck lift and even worse if she is facing a 4th or 5th facelift at age 50? This may explain why men and women end up looking very unnatural, like the Bride of Wildenstein from too many facelifts. Less is more!!!

what's the difference between a VR facelift and a vertical MACS facelift? are they the same? can't find much information online. I'm now interested in the surgeon you mentioned at Coppergate Clinic but doubting they'll accept me as I'm only 27 but I have sagging from vline.

@MissOrange Since you're a fan of fat grafting for anti aging have you heard of Dr. Alfredo V. Callanta from the Philippines? All of his results look so good and he's apparently the creator of the FAMI fg method. His ig is artistiquemd ! I don't know how much he charges, though.

Today is a look at overall facial ageing. Never spend all your savings on a super expensive face and neck lift as ageing encompasses overall bone and volume loss, eyelid bags and sags from loss of bone and fat volume in the eye socket, sagging philtrum, sagging forehead due to bone and volume loss and lower jaw bone resorption. It is a journey in years to complete facial rejuvenation and one trip to Korea is not enough. If on a budget, broaden your horizons and travel the world for the best and cheapest. Don’t settle for less. No excuses like “I actually prefer my face to have nasolabial folds?” “Ageing continues so the facelift never lasts.” “I need nasolabials else my face will look plastic.” I have heard all these excuses when in fact they had a deep plane facelift which severed their facial retaining ligaments permanently. No one knows if the face can be repaired once these ligaments, the scaffold holding up the face, have been cut. Often times it is the swelling in the face after a deep plane facelift that may temporarily hold up the face for the first several months, until deswelling is complete and the true effect of cut ligaments may manifest itself. The vicious cycle of repeat deep plane facelifts may then commence after failed futile attempts to hold up the face with fillers. Facelifts may also look unnatural if facial volume loss has not been addressed beforehand. How do I know if I have volume loss? If you have wrinkles and your face looks bony, your face may be depleted of fat volume.

I beat menoface! When you reach menopause it is the most soul destroying stage of your life when your face ages overnight. No wonder many husbands divorce wives when their wives reach their 50s. Men don’t age until they reach their 70s! Then they face their own male menoface! lol.

Here is my menoface at age 47 and 49 vs at almost 58. Spot the differences. To think at age 47 I emailed BK hospital in Korea asking how to make me pretty. Turns out I worked it out all on my own with successes and failures and in the end I succeeded and never want to tempt fate with plastic surgery ever again! I am done!

Hello MissOrange, I am impressed by your results. Kindly let me know whether the fatgrafting in Korea was done before the facelift or after. And what means VR lift?

And how long will fat grafting last. I read that it can be reabsorbed, sometimes quit fast and in an uneven manner.... Thank you

Hi @Shakun, yes I had fat grafting in Korea before the facelift. I had 5 facial fat grafts in total but think I could have stopped after the 4th and had a facelift earlier. VR just means a vertical vector facelift. VR can be macs, smas or even DP. But I would only recommend a smas facelift with steroids.
