VR as in vertical vector facelift. It is the same as vertical restore. I had this first but without steroids. Had I had steroids I may not have had the swelling and then sagging at 4-6 months. I would suggest this first for anyone who is young for a first facelift. It comes with a free retightening policy within a year for £5,500.View attachment 5929572
Thanks so much! You recommend this over a smash facelift? I attached a couple of photos for you. I'm 40. I'm also in Australia but it's so expensive here!

Thank you for your photos @6098Sophia. You have mild neck laxity and very minor jowls. You might be offered a mini lift or macs lift or told to wait until it gets bad enough for a facelift. In your shoes I would wait until it gets worse as it is very minor. Remember before you embark on any plastic surgery, your condition has to be so bad you are prepared for surgery going wrong or failing. I can’t see a surgeon agreeing to a drastic smas or deep plane facelift on you. Also they consider age. For a full facelift in the UK they rarely operate on anyone under 50 or even 55 in some cases. In Korea they don’t care about age as they are more money motivated like the US.
Thanks so much! Maybe those photos don't show the true extent of my neck laxity lol I was hoping not to wait until my jowls are really bad for surgery but I appreciate what you're saying

Who would you recommend for a lip lift?
My lip lift surgeon Caroline Mills has stopped doing lip lifts. You could research Nick Rhodes at Coppergate Clinic, UK £1950, Dr Osuch in Poland (£2000 or $3000) or Dr Greg Bran in the UK. Dr Mascaro was good in Florida until he received a very bad review on realself with shocking photos.

Hi @6098Sophia for you yes as the £5500 VR FL will lift the mild neck laxity and minor jowls and if you source steroids it should hold. You are also covered by the up to 1 year free retightening policy so if it does not hold, they can do a form of free smas plication. Your neck was like mine was. The only thing is they may not agree to do this for you at age 40. They may say wait until the jowls get worse. I was 55 and my jowls were worse than yours. Here is the b&a at 2 years post.EC838BCE-B086-4C63-AFF6-40F6D94800AD.jpeg

Thanks so much! I will try the clinic you mentioned. There is one here in Oz who does it Dr Scott Turner but I'm not sure about pricing. I understand they don't want to operate in 40 year Olds but I'd rather do something now then wait for my jowls to worsen

I'll continue with the relevant questions here as I'm sure someone else will find it relevant. I agree with your approach to

1/ Fatgraft eyelids
2/ liplift
3/ facelift

But I'm also having Rhino, my thought here was should I first correct the length of my philtrum with Rhino (columella grafts) and then pursue the lip lift or vice-a-versa?

@6098Sophia I agree with @MissOrange that you don’t need a FL. If you really want to do surgery right now, you might consider lipo for the neck.

Hi @zet88, do the rhino first as it alters the philtrum. Then with lip lift you can work out exactly how much shorter to make the philtrum.

Thanks! Maybe I'm too focused on my flaws

Yes I've decided lipo or J plasma tightening is the way to go. Any recommendations? I'm in Australia but plastic surgery is just so damn expensive here. I'm thinking Korea or Turkey but I'm not sure!

Today someone asked me how I had the body of a 20 year old? I thought to myself wow do people notice the body too? I always focussed on rejuvenating my face. I looked at some home cam stills and I guess yes one can say I have a young slim figure too. So not only do you have to rejuvenate your face but also your body else it will look out of place to have a youthful face on an aging body! I need a better home cam as the top image is very grainy. Slender arms and legs are associated with youth and an hour glass figure too. Liposuction sorts everything out without high intensity training if you are in your late 50s and all my lower body fat resides in my chest now. lol. I walked into a high school today as I needed to ask the school receptionist something and as I was walking alongside students entering the school I thought wow I could fit in! lol.

Hi @6098Sophia you look fab and beautiful. You already look 25 so no surgeon will believe you are 40. You don’t need anything now, not even lipo. Lipo stretches the skin as it floods the area with tumescent fluid that swells up the area and takes months to reabsorb. No facial or neck lipo! I have seen too many bad results. If you wanted to look 20 then a bit of upper lid fat graft to fill the hollow but that is all. The minor jowls actually make you look younger like baby fat. And definitely no J plasma tightening with heat based radiofrequency! Why risk swelling, redness, skin discoloration, burns and nerve damage for a non surgical procedure? I have seen too many ladies get deformed by laser to the face, TL subcision, etc. Be careful as you have nothing that needs fixing now and if you fall into the greedy trap like I have in the past, you may pay the price with complications and wish you could turn back the clock. Oh how I regretted my first ever full face fat graft that swelled and deformed my face. At the time I didn’t need it but an American in Korea was saying how youthful it made her with a round baby forehead.

I, like you, wanted something done in Korea. In fact for a while I was obsessed with zygoma reduction as I wanted a thinner and smaller face, but many tpfers said I didn’t need it and pointed out the complications in those who had done it. It was actually a patient of a famous Korean clinic on instagram who shared privately how she regretted having it done. But then when I saw the results of zygoma reduction in an American Asian who went to Girin I was again super tempted. Then reality dawned on me that my body may very well react to the titanium and I would be in eternal agony and no one in the UK would know how to remove the screws or even agree to do this. So I let go of this obsession.

For those who need revision deep plane face and necklift, the cheapest place is Turkey who are quoting £6500 for 8 days hotel, 2 days hospital, lower bleph with fat repositioning, temporal midface and revision deep plane face and necklift! I guess if you need revision DP, Turkey will be your affordable answer.
