Hi Ame,

Yes, if possible I hope to see the diamond in person and decide, so I prefer to find it locally. :) Many thanks to your great help.

I found a diamond today, it falls to the numbers u gave, however, when I run it on HCA calculator, it only have 1.3, would u please take a look for me? It is about 10k for the diamond alone. thanks again hun.

1.3 is the HCA score? That's usually a good thing. I have seen some duds under a 2, and some winners over a 2.

The numbers look fantastic, esp the crown and pav angle combo.

Did your eyes love it?

I haven't see it in person yet, if you think it should be a good one, then I should go to see it in person. :) Thanks Ame.

I would see that one and see what you think. Make sure that the VS2 is in fact eye clean. Look at it from all angles, including upside down, so you can see the inclusion.

The important thing to realize is that there is no such thing as a perfect diamond - every diamond has some flaw somewhere. I think people get too hung up on the documentation that comes along with a stone and not the stone itself - you could have two identically graded stones next to each other and one will stand out as being more beautiful. Diamonds have personality that goes beyond the 4C's. You have to just look at a lot of stones in person, and get the one that speaks to you.

ame, excuse my ignorance but what's this calculator/calculation you always talk about? (where you get like a 1 or a 1.3 or a 2 or whatever, I would assume by plugging in the angles and percentages somehow...)
How do I find this and what is the calculation?

Thanks again for always helping us out with any and all diamond questions!
