Hi! I have a Madison Shimmer Leather Maggie and somehow managed to get an ink mark on it. I know that leather cleaners can't be used on the bag...
Any tips on how to get it out?
Thanks!

I had luck lighten ink marks with rubbing alcohol. Honestly though, I think it's better to just live with it. Trying to clean it rubs off the shimmer and makes the stain stand out more.

I wouldn't recommend alcohol to remove ink on any leather bag. I had a 1/2 inch pen line on my leather zoe and I was so upset that I used the leather cleaner & moisturizer which that actually made it almost disappear, but I was foolish enough to be bothered by the super faint line left, so I tried the alcohol on a Qtip just on the line - ink disappeared but now there's a faded spot on my bag! I should have left it alone after the first step as that took care of the problem.

please help! i haven't found much online for cleaning coach pvc.

i know it's REALLY small and if i hadn't pointed out my boyfriend or anyone else probably would never have noticed it, but i'm sad about it :(
i don't know if i bought it that way or if it's something that happened while i was shopping in other stores, but i hadn't been around pens or anything by the point i had noticed it.

i have tried alcohol with a qtip and soap and water and neither worked :( i suppose i will try the mr clean magic eraser...anything else i should pick up at the store and try?

what would you do?

if nothing works, the little hangtag thing covers it...
I've never had any luck cleaning PVC. They aren't supposed to get stained because you can wipe them clean. Somehow some stains soak through. I tried a lot of different things and nothing worked.

I bought a leather poppy on ebay that had a few pen marks. I was sure they were permanent. They cleaned off easily with a regular mild spray cleaner and a washcloth. I think on some of the very smooth leathers, the ink doesn't soak in.

I have made some minor spots a lot worse by trying to clean them. The alcohol is probably safer on the light colored bags.

NO! i am pretty sure it would ruin the fabric. why don't you spot clean it?

if you really don't mind potentially ruining the bag, then go for.

Well i took the chance and sprayed it with shout out then washed it on delicate cycle with nothing else in the washer and then i hung it up to dry and it came out not too bad there are still stains in some areas but they are lighter than they were so it looks good.I'll have to post some pics soon.:Dlol

I have a tip on cleaning jeans transfer from fabric Coach bags!

I took my new fabric patchwork collection tote (in white!!!) out this weekend wearing a new pair of dark jeans (doh). The color from the jeans transferred to the bag and I was heartbroken!

But turns out using regular laundry detergent worked! All I did was add some detergent into a pail of water, then dip the stained part of the bag into the water and used my hand to clean the bag. Took a few minutes but the color did come off completely! My bag is now as good as new, and is WHITE again. :D

I'm not sure if this has been asked but how would I get pen mark off of my patent leather jazzy? I tried a damp cloth and even a baby wipe and it will not come off. HELP!!!!

I found this website. http://www.buzzle.com/articles/how-to-clean-a-patent-leather-purse.html. The following is an answer to your question. Good luck!

Rubbing Alcohol
If you use your patent leather bag on a daily basis, then there are chances that it is marked by pen marks. One way to get rid of this is to use a solution of two parts of rubbing alcohol and one part water. Use a cotton ball to apply this mixture to all those areas on the bag that has pen marks on it and allow the area to be saturated completely. Once this is done, you can use a piece of cloth to erase any remaining spot of pen mark on the bag.

I recently bought a bone MSB & am concerned about color transfer. Is there a protectant spray you can buy that is safe to use on the MSB to prevent color transfer?!
