How to break in a Balenciaga??

Hi Guys,

I was wondering what y'all do to break in your new Balenciaga, especially the ones with giant hardware as the leather is slightly thicker. I've heard of the "stuff it with heavy books and hang it on the doorknob trick", but I don't want to overload the bag and break the leather if you know what I mean.

What tips/tricks do you have to break in your Balenciaga without damaging it?? Thanks for all your help bbag experts!

Yup, lots of existing threads to ponder.

Just USE it! That's all you need to do - use your bag - and it will eventually break-in. All the silly "tricks" are ridiculous and can ruin the integrity of the leather, handles, whip-stitching, etc.

^^ Agree with this. Just use the darn thing, it will become smooshy with some use. No sense in "aging" the bag before the natural process takes over.
