How old were you when you got your first Cartier piece?

Trinity silk cord at 32 and YG Regular Love this year at 34. I’ve wanted a love for a long time and finally saved up enough for it (with a generous contribution from DH).

There is no Cartier where I live so I bought my Love in Honolulu and got to visit my grandmother who lived there for what would be the last time. I had no idea she was going to pass, but 4 days after I saw her she was gone. It reminds me of her. I’m thinking of maybe having her name engraved on the inside.

How very sweet and sentimental. I love the engraving idea - a beautiful way to keep your Grandma with you forever.

My deepest condolences for your loss .

What a beautiful memory!

35, almost 36. Actually I'm turning 36 in 3 weeks and I'm buying the first Cartier ring today (I think 35 is a good number hehe). I've been buying bags and SLGs for a few years but never got into jewelry until last year. I didn't even know Cartier and VCA existed until 2019. I'm so happy to get my first Love ring for my 36th birthday .

What an interesting thread! I was 33 when I bought my thin love. I had dealt with post partum depression, and after maternity leave worked for a company where I was very badly discriminated. Ended up needing a ton of therapy. The following year I got an unexpected tax rebate from working there and thought…I’m going to turn sh*t into gold (pardon the expression)! And it worked! Next my darling hubby bought me a tank must for our anniversary and then a trinity ring for Xmas ( he wanted to treat me as I just found out I was pregnant and shockingly sick!). Finally, I just had our second baby and I was treated to a regular love to stack. I feel very blessed and love the meaning attached to all my pieces!
