How often do you switch up/rotate your fine jewelry?

I don’t switch often. Mainly wear the same few pieces. Occasionally I will remind myself to wear something else. And then I’ll wear that for a while. Or remind myself that I need to wear earrings bc I have problematic piercings

Several dear friends want to wear pearls for lunch (it sounds ladies who lunch, but we aren’t lol)
so I’ll dig some out when we set a date.

I used to hate pearls lol-I’ve always been a coloured diamond girl since my teens..mainly blue, but my parents gifted me a triple row South Sea pearl bracelet which I wear when I’m wearing a lot of black, to break it up.
I’ve got a golden South Sea pearl gold necklace as well, but I don’t wear that much, although it’s a beautiful pearl..I just admire it.
I have another bracelet with just 5 South Sea pearls on , which is more casual, which I put on today, but the rest of my jewellery , like you, mostly stays the same-although I DO keep earrings in all of the time.

I only switch for specific formal events or special occasions, otherwise I wear the same pieces all the time

I wear earrings and necklace 24/7 and I rotate them once or twice a month. Before covid I used to wear a few rings and bracelet everyday and change them every day too. That stopped during covid because i need to keep sanitizing my hands. So now im not used wear rings and bracelet anymore. But recently I rekindle my love with gemstones. In one week I bought one garnet ring, one peridot ring, one ruby with diamonds ring and one sapphire with diamonds ring . Hopefully these pretty new rings will make me want to wear rings (and bracelet) again.

I don’t swap out jewelry much, but I do love the memories associated with inherited pieces and items that marked special occasions - even if I don’t wear them.
I was a bit sad when my daughter told me she doesn’t want any of my jewelry. But not everyone is a jewelry person.
