So, I am the kind of person who isn't too into changing up my jewelry often. I'm lazy and I like the convenience of wearing the same pieces. :P

I also have this fear of having "too many" fine jewelry pieces and not giving each of them enough love or cost per wear.
I am also afraid of getting "tired" of older pieces of fine jewelry when I buy new fine jewelry and then sort of neglecting my old jewelry in a box while wearing my new ones all the time.

Does anyone have this problem? lol, am I thinking too much?

I have a thing for fine jewelry rings and already have some well loved and worn pieces for the past 4-5 years or so.
What I have now:
- wedding engagement ring and band
- tiffany RG, half eternity WG, and full eternity Chanel RG (I wear them as a stack)
- Bvlagari serpentine, RG half diamonds
- Cartier small JUC, WG

Currently, I find myself looking at fine jewelry rings again. Especially some Bvlgari and VCA pieces. But I'm uncertain about pulling the trigger. :P It's not like I can wear all my rings together like how I can potentially stack bracelets LOL. (well I could but I think that's a bit much)

Your insight would be much appreciated! Thank you!

I can relate. I have two constant wear pieces (wedding band and a necklace) and three daily wear pieces (e-ring plus two other rings). I don't care for wearing rings on fingers next to each other and even though I have a dozen rings sitting in my jewelry box already, I still look at more.

Recently, I've been forcing myself to branch out a bit. I've never been an earrings person, but I realized there were times when they did complete the look. I bought a basic pair of studs, then a pair that can go from day to evening. Most recently I bought a pair more suited to events.

I can relate too. My favorites are the last pieces I bought. I have to consciously remember that95% of my jewlery needs to see the light of day! Sometimes you also do outgrow certain pieces that you bought when you had a different aesthetic. That’s okay!

Haha, I wish I could rotate my fine jewelry as well as I rotate my bags!

Yes, I definitely do have some much older pieces, mainly silver and titanium that I pretty much don't wear anymore. Also, because they don't fit my fingers anymore as well lol.

I resemble this haha. At least it’s an excuse to buy more rings, right?

I don’t like to shower or sleep in most of my jewelry, so I tend to switch everything out frequently. I will occasionally sell or give away something that I no longer wear.

Since you don’t like to change your jewelry frequently, if you like those new pieces you’re eying more than your current stuff, buy them and sell your old things. If you don’t like them more, don’t buy!

Hi! I am a big jewelry lover and switch my jewelry every day except my engagement ring. I love looking at my jewelry pieces, and I also love thinking... "hmm... what am I in the mood to wear today".

I think if you love jewelry and love to stare at your bling, I vote get more pieces.
However, if you are content to wear the same pieces, I would skip.

I have a friend who wears the same pieces over and over again. It's her look, and it looks fabulous on her.
Buying more pieces if you don't rotate wearing them is a waste.

Also, there is nothing wrong with getting rid of pieces you no longer love. When I get tired of pieces, I get rid of them. I am not a believer in keeping all jewelry just to have. To me, it's like keeping all your designer clothes "just to keep", but never wearing them as they are no longer your look, and everyone has a "look". If you are tired of some pieces, it's okay to get rid of them and buy new pieces you love. Jewelry is fashion, it is part of one's fashion look. And as with all fashion, we grow out of things we once loved which is perfectly fine.

Looking at what you have, maybe get another Bulgari Serpenti piece as a set to your ring. I think a Serpenti bracelet would make a nice set.

Just my two cents. I hope this was helpful in your decision.

I'm a mixed bag.

For earrings, I only wear diamond studs (and huggies on my third piercing) - very minimal collection. For bracelets, I only wear my 2 Love's (YG and RG) and bring out the 2 thin WG diamond bangles to separate the YG and RG Loves for special occasions. I'm not overly keen on OTT wrist stacks, so I try and keep my bracelet collection minimal.

However, my biggest weaknesses are necklaces/pendants and rings, so I like to change them up every so often depending on the outfit. I'll sometimes wear multiple rings for an edgier look. I'll also mix up my watches depending on the outfit too.

I’d love to see pics of your ring stack and your daily jewelry! Like you, I am rather lazy about switching jewelry, which makes me very hesitant to build a huge collection. I don’t wear rings, bracelets, or necklaces right now because of that.

I do have a small earring collection, which I do change out everyday based on what I am wearing. So I try not to accumulate too much so it makes for easy decision making. Right now I have a VCA sweet butterfly earrings, Cartier rg love hoops, Valentino Yg Rockstuds, and diamond studs. I want some black/onyx earrings and some jade ones.

I’m in the process of finding a new wedding/engagement ring or Cartier love bracelet and I don’t know what to do because it’s been so long since I’ve worn rings or bracelets.

It’s so weird but I tend to get attached to fine jewelry. Not so much bags or other accessories.
I guess it may be because I tend to buy fine jewelry at memorable moments in my life so they get sentimental :P

Yea I’m not too big on stacking a lot of bracelets.
I love watches too! But for some reason I’m okay with switching up watches but not fine jewelry rings lol:huh:. Again, not that I don’t want to switch up rings but I like the convenience of wearing the same pieces. And yet changing watches is okay…no idea why:P
