Only 145 years old! At my current purchanse and use rate, I'm going to have to live to 250 years and beyond. :) Guess the handbags are a motivation to take care of ourselves.

Wow! I’m definitely the exception! I buy a purse and carry it day in and day out for literally YEARS without switching the bag... and only if I get a new(-to-me) on that I want to play with. I guess it is how I have justified the cost of the purse!

I work in IT And just wear jeans and t-shirts and tennis shoes so the vintage AWL or newer pebbled leather version works with that.

However, I have been on a vintage buying binge lately and have bought a new one from the Dooney website so that might change.

So many Doonys, so little time!

I am retired, so I change days daily, just for fun. I have everything in a couple of pouches so it takes me about 30 seconds to change bags. I used to carry one until it fell apart, but that was before I discovered TPF!!! I am home or can run home when ever I want, so there is no need to carry everything I used to carry with me when I was gone from 7:30 until 5:30. Retirement is the best. And I dress after choosing which bag I want to carry not the other way around.
I have a lot of bags and I intend to wear them out before I die.

Hey I am with you gal!!! I am downsizing, but still have plenty to last my lifetime as well.
