I guess weekly/daily. I have one bag that I use for school. Weekend/going out bags, which one I wear depends on my outfit, the weather and where it is I'm going. :)

But, if I got a new bag I'm really loving, I'd basically flip the whole world over just so I can wear that one for a while. XD

I need to switch out more often. I often will settle into whatever bag is my current favorite and only switch out if I need to dress up more for church, dinner, etc. But then as soon as I come home from that event, I pull everything out and go back to my current fave bag that I have been carrying everyday. lol

I need to either rotate more often or sell the bags I don't carry much.

Something to think about for me.

Whenever I get the itch to switch. Maybe once a week or every 2 weeks. Sometimes I switch for one day and go back to a current favorite. There's no rhyme or reason. Lol. Unless it's for a special event (wedding, going out, etc.)

I'm happier now with my rotation - I switch bag about once a week for work and normally use smaller bags on weekends. Before I about halved my collection, I FELT I needed to rotate everyday to justify the number of bags I had. It came to a point that it was not fun anymore. Motivated me to downsize, which was a good thing.

Usually I rotate 1-3 times a week but lately it's been a bit different. I've rotated more frequently, sometimes twice a day. Currently I am rotating between my new to me-Modalu Pippa and a small crossbody bag. They're both brown since I'm mostly wearing brown shoes and a green jacket at the mo.
If I need to run to the shops or join the BF/friends for a night out I take the little one and if I need to bring my agenda, paperwork etc (like I am going to when scouting for apartments and jobs later this week, keep your thumbs up!) it's time for Pippa to jump in.

I keep things in pouches and sometimes also use an organizer so it's easy for me to switch bags. Today I might feel like carrying a black satchel, tomorrow it could be a fuchsia tote or a mustard yellow messenger. I get bored easily... :p

Definitely daily, and sometimes TWICE daily. Have your daytime / work bag, and your evening bag. But I have a ton of bags [120+] that I absolutely LOVE [yes I really love ALL of them] and I want to make sure each bag has a chance to go out. The majority are affordable bags [Dooney & Bourke $200-$500] and I do have quite a few premiere [mostly GUCCI, but also LV, Prada, Burberry $1500-$6000]

I switch for function, mainly.
*I carry my nvt leather daily bag, with wallet/make up case/pouches.
*If it rains/snows horribly, switch to smaller clutch wallet(optional chain & fits under coat) in goat leather. Or, if activity has lots of walking/city transport. Also as evening clutch.
*If activity is outdoors/less friendly to designer bags, switch to distressed leather kick-around bag/wallet. Or, if dometically travel on road trip/vacation.
*If traveling internationally, or visiting higher crime area, switch to slash-proof/steel mesh reinforced crossbody bag & nylon wallet.
*And, I have a few "fancy times" bags, which coordinate with daily wallet/make up case/pouches. I switch to these for events or just on whim. It's fun.

I recently replaced "kick around" bag, as last one's design lost things from front pocket & proved too small.
I keep fewer # than some, but am picky about each bag serving its purpose. If not, gone.
