oh sorry i didn't know there was already a thread that's practically the same! oh i'm so embarrassed :shame: obviously i was up late last night and wasn't in my right mind. :nuts:

wow a few times a day? so when you put them back do you store it away neatly or is it just hung or stacked in your closet? i'm just curious is all. i think i'm just too lazy to change mine so often. maybe another reason is so my hubby doesn't realize how many bags i actually have. lol well it's really not a lot but you know, to men, more than one is too many.

Don't be embarrassed! There are so many threads on here that it's easy to miss one. I thought you might want to read the responses in the other thread.

When I change a bag, if I have time and I don't think I'm going to use the first bag again the next day, I pack it up with tissue and store it. If I think I'm going to use it again the next day, I lay it on the "purse chair" I have in the foyer.

I know what you mean about husbands. Mine is only peripherally aware of handbags. He notices when I have a new one but he doesn't notice how often I change. Also I don't have very many bags -- less than 10 -- which isn't too extreme.

I switch my bags depending on my mood, really (: I have this bag addiction ♥ When I feel like this bag wont` work out, Ill` go for my other fave bag. It just goes on and on. LOL;

Hi Ladies, I'm new to the forum. I change bags daily because I coordinate with what I wear and sometimes it depends on my mood(s). I don't think anyone should assume anything about how another (female) chooses to acessorize with what belongs to her. I love to share information on good finds and I take pride in not spending retail for what I can get at a discount if I look. Oh well, To each his/her own. Let's congratulate others for their diversity.

:laugh: Actually that applies to anyone who doesn't love their bags like we do!

i know right? i just brought out my purple botkier sasha today and my cousin called it the barney bag. lol and my hubby was like wat?? you got another bag?? but my daughter knows how much i treasure "viola" ahha. am i sending a 9 year old the wrong messages? lol

me too. i only have about 4 bags that i consider my loves. i'm trying to rid of my old bags but then again i thought... who'd want these crappy no name bags from 10 years ago? lol

yea i haven't been restoring my bags with tissue but i realized how they'd get out of shape so i did. i did get it because i loved it at one point so i know i'd love it again...

Same here, I change it according to my outfit and shoes! If I'm carrying a black bag though, I can usually go a week without having to empty everything out and into a different bag :p This way my bags get more use... Yeah... It's probably an excuse to get more bags! :graucho:

Definitely not daily for me. I hate changing bags. But sometimes I will change after a couple of days. Yesterday I was wearing pink and my bag was red. So I changed after carrying the red bag for just a day or two. More often, I'll carry a bag for a week or so. Usually with a new bag, once I've decided it's a keeper I'll put it into use pretty quickly and use it for a week or more.

It was interesting reading through this thread and seeing what everyone does!

Years ago I found that I never used any of my bags because I was just too busy to switch (even though it takes very little time!). Then I decided that I could make it happen if it was something I did fairly regularly. I made it part of my "getting ready for the new week" process. On Sunday evening when I was getting everything else ready for the week I would switch bags. It has worked like a charm every since. :smile1:
