How often do you change bags?

I change my purses almost everyday. Most of the time I change my purse based on my outfit, but the weather is also taken into consideration if it's rainign, snowing, etc.
I would love to change my bag every day, but I'm afraid, busyness or often laziness prevents me from doing so! :shame:
What causes me to change my bags tho?
- change in seasons (the beginning of a season just begs for different bags to come out!)
- weather (it's true that on rainy days I'll bring out the bags that are lower mainenance)
- my mood. I'll pick something bright or something more demure depending on my mood that day.
- occasion. This is obvious when it's for things like a night out, dates, or other special occasions. But I also put into this bucket things like say.. mondays at work! haha... sometimes you need that ultra special bag to make mondays seem less blah!
- firsts. Any time there's a first impression involved, I'll usually take some thought as to which bag to carry!

I tend to carry the same one for a couple of weeks, and then rotate....I just am finishing up with my LV white bag for the summer, and am moving into a pretty red one...and no doubt I'll use a few others during the fall/winter months. I try to keep my numbers down though - and do have one bag which is for evenings out/speciall occasions...of course I'm constantly buying and selling to buy more so I'm never quite "done" lol!
I switch b/c of weather or b/c of the place I'm going. If it is a place that I know my bag won't get dirty or something I would bring my nicer bags. If it is to bowling or something I bring my less expensive bags. My bags nevery really coordinate with my clothes b/c I just use whatever I feel like that day and for a couple days after.
Now that I am starting to get a nice collection of bags, I'm changing more and more all the time.
When we're to get rain and I know about it, I will change into an all weather leather. I try to be very careful.
If I'm dressing up, I try to use a dressier classic bag.
On weekends, I tend to use more like a hobo or my Chloe Bag.

I think this is a very good question - I tend to use my newest bag for a long time till I either get tired of it or feel guilty for not using my other bags. Of course a certain outfit can force me to change but generally it's guilt for not using bags I spent a fortune on. Sometimes when I get a new bag, I'll retire one I've really loved, put it back in it's dust cover, stuffed accordingly and barely ever use it after that - I have a real problem with this.
Do you carry the same one for weeks and weeks or for an entire season, or do you swap out based on the outfit you're wearing each day, or do you change bags weekly? When I was younger and carried smaller bags I used to change based on my outfit but now that I'm in my (late) 30's I seem to *need* to carry so much stuff so I tend to stick to the same bag for several weeks before switching out to something else. I'm guessing that I switch roughly every 6 weeks or so -- I say this because at my last hair appt my stylist commented that I have a new bag every time I go in to see her.
I'd always figured once I bought my first LV I'd probably use it for months and months and months without a break...only time will tell since I'm getting ready to make my first purchase sometime soon.
