Aww, thanks so much for the offer;) I still love them all. I do plan to go through my closet soon though and get rid of a lot of stuff I am not likely to wear. When saying I had at least 50 DVF dresses I decided to count and the amount was over 100 and that was just for the hanging dresses from DVF. I have many other dresses that are sweater dresses and they are folded in a drawer. On the up side dress are the main staple of my wardrobe. So I have more of them than anything else.

At least I tried! :)
Over 100 is nice if you wear them. If you do, don't give them away. Whatever happens, those dresses will are appreciated.

:wtf: I'm wondering if you have all seasons clothing in your closet?

Yes, I could say so, but some of the dresses don't breath very well for humid summer. I can't wear a blazer in the summer. It does get too hot to layer at top or blouse over a dress to achieve a different look for the summer. I don't wear jeans in the summer, only skirts or dresses.

You don't get bored with the clothes because of all the accessories I have.

Just remember to only give away dresses if you really don't want them!

Round numbers are fine, but regretting giving away nice cloths isn't!!:smile1:
I won't give away anything I am likely to regret. Here is a link to my closet.

I agree and plan on doing that by the end of the year. I need to spend at least a day in my closet pull down the Murphy bed, throw one drawer on the bed at a time and go through everything. That means trying things on for fit as well because is something doesn't fit right I know I won't wear it. I have a family that I donate my clothes to and they really appreciate it.

Sadly nobody in my family is my size so I just wear my pieces until they wear out now before putting them in the charity bag.:smile1:

Oh! Look at that! I even posted there and I have less now then I did back then. I loved those tunics, but they are worn out.

that's good. i am purging again....some stuff that i haven't touched in a year i am donating them or selling them.
i like that fact that i don't have a lot...the more stuffed my closet the harder for me to put outfits together.....

I used to have every colour, every design etc for any occasion and I had zillions of clothes.

Now I stick to my "uniform" - sweater, jeans, shirt, jacket/coat it's so much easier to get dressed and so much easier to write lists for the future because you can see what's wearing out...

The fur coats and cocktail dresses and snappy suits of the 80s are long gone - and I don't miss them, although my wardrobe is worth just as much now!!(if not more)!:smile1:

I counted mine when I began my big closet purge. I'm hovering right around 75 pieces right now (not including workout clothes & lounge wear). I got rid of probably 150 pieces & feel so much better about my wardrobe now. I still need to do some replacing/upgrading of items but I'm trying to stick to a 1 in 1 out policy for the most part.

Thank you, juneping :) I love your blog that you started and now I know how you look! I feel guilty that you haven't seen a photo of me. You have always been nice to me and we both went through tough times at work a while back.

I really, really love your new ankle boots. I like the light brown suede ones also and I wish I own a pair.

75 is a nice round number and I guess you've got all seasons covered.

I'm not purging until the end of the year, when I'll throw in the charity bag the worn out pieces to make room for next summers pieces.

Just hope you don't regret anything you threw away..:smile1:

More than I want to count

Then I'd love to see your closet!!

Although I only have 50 pieces, I'm a true clothesaholic and love seeing other people's collections - my sister came round to visit yesterday in a great new pair of boot cut jeans and both mum and I are shopping/lunching on Saturday so my wardrobe will hopefully be a bit fuller, although with some padded and some wooden hangers its pretty packed already!!!:smile1::smile1:

Just out of interest, some of you have been kind enough to post how many of each item you own ie.how many dresses etc.

As I don't work my wardrobe is split as follows:

Shirts - 29 (some on pre-order)
Jeans - 4 ( some on pre-order)
Jumpers -12 (enough for the next 3 winters I hope!)
Coats/jackets - 5 (1 on long term pre-order)

Total = 50

Obviously lots of you have work/party/other needs which make your wardrobe much bigger, or just like to vary their look.

I just rotate a few of each section until they wear out, then move onto another few shirts, jumpers, different jeans, coat dependant on season.

When I worked and partied I needed much more but 50 works for me now!!!
