how many LV bags do you own...what is your limit?

I've planning to add two LV bags to my collection, since I've purged many of my bags last year and dont currently have any LV's. I used to have Mono Speedy 30, but now I definitely want the Damier 30 and a new Neverfull GM. So my question is, how many big bags is too many?? I have about 10 right now (MJ, Burberry), so do you think 2 more is excessive? Will I ever get to use them? How often do you guys alternate between your bags? :shrugs: I absolutely hate having my bags sit in the closet, so I try to alternate them often.
Love to hear your opinions.

I agree that you can't have too many bags -- UNLESS you literally don't use one or some of them at ALL, then maybe you have too many. But if you can afford it and like just HAVING them then even then it's fine IMO :tup: Go crazy!

I agree with everyone else...As long as you can afford it and you use them all then...No, not too many.

I have 17. I'm probably going to get 1 more LV next Xmas then I'm done collecting bags. I'm VERY happy with the bags in my collection!! :yes:

Depending on what I'm wearing OR where I'm going I have a bag that fits that particular situation. :tup:

I usually use the same bag all wk M-F. Then change on Sat. Sometimes I use the same bag the entire wkend Sat. & Sun. Other times I use 1 bag on Sat. then a different bag on Sun. Then Mon. I may get stuck with what I used Sun. (because I'm loving that particular bag)and use that M-F. Unless I get bored with it...in which case I change from Sundays bag to another one on Mon. for the next 5 day wk.

Then I start over with this rotation over and over. Sometimes I change mid-wk. That happens a lot too!! :p LOL!

Is 50 bags too many??? I have several that I rarely, if ever, use. But I do love them and enjoy looking at them. I have my eye on 5 or 6 LVs right now but have to decide which ONE I want for Christmas!

OMG!!!! I am reading this thread and I am totally stunned by the number of bags you gals have. Did I see a 50 somewhere?

My 2 cents worth: If you have a habit of rotating your bags and a closet space to keep them, you can buy more. If you are like me who has the habit of carrying the latest bag and essentially chuck the older ones aside, maybe you'll like to revisit your wishlist.

I still can't get over the numbers I am seeing here... :push:

Wow, you're good. I try to change bags according to my what I'm wearing, but it's not a daily thing. There are days when, I'm running so late or lazy, I just don't change. Good thing is that classic mono goes with most colors and patterns. I should rotate my bags more so I get more use out of them. This may be a New Year's resolution for 09!
