I have 9 H bags:
2 - Kelly's 25 and 28
3 - Birkins 25 and 30
1 - Lindy 26
1 - HAC 32
1 - Kelly Cut
1 - Constance 18

I'm very very tempted to let go of lindy 26 (gold/gold), Kelly Cut (biscuit/phw), and B30 (gold/phw - maybe).

I'd just prefer a b25 gold on gold to replace the 3 bags.

Let me know your thoughts.

Yes, you should do it. I have a B30, and it never sees the light of day. I always wear my B25 or K25

I think it might be hard to replace the Kelly cut

@lilmermaid264 , I would make sure that you don’t want your B30 before letting it go and reducing your H number too quickly

Hi Everyone,

Long time lurker here so going straight to the point. Anyone have any regrets buying a Birkin25 especially at the Resale price? I feel I need to scratch that itch. Is it worth selling like say 5 -8x premium bags to get that elusive B25?

This time I don't want to go through the Store route as I've not been a client for a few years and I specifically want the bag in a certain colour.

The most used bags in my Hermes collection are my 2x bolides27 then the Pico and the Kelly 28 and 25,

My B35 and 30 haven't seen much light of day as I think they are too big for my style...

Hi all, I would be grateful for some help on which Birkin (retourne) size to go for. I am really torn between the 25 or the 30.

I am 171cm (5’7) and this will be my first quota bag.

My hesitation is that the 25 is too micro for my height but the 30 is too big to take to dinner? I have been able to try on the 25 in store but my SA didn’t undo the wings so it looked smaller than what it may actually look.

I am glad to be done with mine (and in my 30s, lol), but I may eat up my words, lol.

Update: I now have 8 Hermes bags since I added a newer Birkin 35 in beige marfa/PHW/togo earlier this year.

I am thinking of getting rid of 2 bags [i.e., #2 and 3] that I don't use much. (I don't see any reasons for having too many bags.) But, I am still thinking of getting a black Box Birkin 35 (either GHW or PHW) from either a boutique or reseller later this year, lol. ETA: After Hermes confirmed price hikes following the US tariffs, I plan not to shop in my US home store anymore, but I would still shop in boutiques in Europe.

Lovely, considered collection! As a big Kelly Cut fan I say please consider keeping that one, they are gorgeous specs and if you experienced bag regret it might be hard to replace (unlike a B30). I love my Lindy 30 but couldn’t quite see a role for a 26 in my collection so I could understand rehoming that one.

My thoughts: I have three B30s and love them and rarely carry my B25 (the opposite of @atnur) but, as someone (maybe @Veritybelle) points out, a B30 is probably more easily replaced than a Kelly Cut should you have regrets.

honestly? If I have to answer the first question of this thread i would answer that I've been collecting handbags for more than 20 years... unfortunately there is never an end because you always want the new color... with the excuse that they don't lose their value (but unfortunately it's not always true because now big bags nobody wants them). If I look at the most used bags in my collection they are really few and that means I could have ended up with 9/10 bags.... However, when you are a bag lover and have the opportunity to buy them it becomes hard to stop.

Based on the rest of your collection, I think this makes sense. You seem to like larger bags and the TPM is a bit of an outlier. I personally love mini bags but I let go of a TPM because it fit very little and remains wide open all the time.

I think 10-12 bags is the sweet spot for me. The remaining pieces would fill the gaps in my color range. Could I see myself adding more in the future? Maybe. There are always beautiful new colors that tempt me, but like with anything in life, there’s a point where it starts to feel like too much.

Gosh this is embarrassing..the collection keeps growing with 1 more mini Lindy and a Halzan 25 added. I have added another bag to my wishlist which I am hoping will be my last one. A K25 sellier in a bright colour preferably green. However if I never get that one..I am very satisfied with my collection.
