This is my first time ever coming to the Michael Kors on PF. I'm always hanging out at LV and have more than I could ever carry in my lifetime. I've just fallen inlove with the MK accessories...not to mention the prices. I just ordered 3 wonderful accessories and didn't spend over $300 which fo me is a major miracle. I'm so happy...that I can get a rainbow of colors for my bags and not break the bank in the meantime. MK's is my new love :yahoo:

I really want a Miranda--the black leather with grommets--but I am struggling with the idea of paying $1195 for a bag that is made in China. I just can't bring myself to pay FP.

If I can find it 40% off in September, I'd be all over it--I may even convince myself that at 25% it's okay--but at FP, it's just too much.:p

Yeah, I am definitely going to only buy it if it is on sale. Full price anything hurts my feelings!:crybaby:

I used to feel the same way. I said i would never spend that much on a bag. Lol until I made my first purchase and started reading on the forums about how certain bags retain their value and last longer. I would buy a bag every season. But since I've been purchasing more expensive bags I only get one once a year some times every 2. And I feel like its a special treat to working so hard. But that's just me.

What do you mean certain bags that retain their value and last longer? Can you please explain lol I havn't heard such thing yet...

Lol like the higher end bags like LV, Chanel, Hermes will retain their value over say Coach, Mk. For example say you pay $700 for a bag now with the higher end bags in a few years if you decide to sell your bags you will most like get back what you paid if not more. Due to prices increases and certain bags not changing color or style and still being in demand. Where as Coach or Mk you buy a bag for like $300 you decide to try and sell but you wouldn't get what u paid back.

I've never bitten the bullet on a super expensive bag. Every time I get close, I think "what if I don't love it enough to get my money's worth?" I feel like it is too much of a commitment and I would feel guilty if I didn't carry it all the time. I have so many bags that none of them get carried that much, so I prefer to keep buying bags in the MK and Coach price range. As long as the quality is there, I can't really justify the more expensive designer bags.
I agree with you, as much as I would like to buy a designer bag I cannot justify it right now. I stick to Coach and MK right now.
