How many bags do you purchase each year on average?

this is so wise. and thinking about my purchases, I haven't crossed this yet. I think subconsciously my brain was telling me this, now it's conscious! hahaha
To be fair, I do have my name in for a navy blue Kelly bag, and should I ever get that call, I'm getting it! And trust me, I do not make $1 mil salary. That's a special case, however, of a one time indulgence. I am not holding my breath for that call.

haha, well my name isn't in for a birkin or kelly [honestly, not even quite sure how the whole H wait list works...obviously, not seriously looking into it] but I think I'll have to sit that out until I'm in the $1mil+ club/lottery winners club because I want BOTH birk and Kell. But I totally feel you, H will do that to ya. hahaha

I would like to stick to 2. Last year, I purchased 3 in 5 months, and 2 of those were impulse purchases. I'm trying to plan better now, and am finding myself indecisive and uninspired. So many great choices out there it's maddening, and yet nothing is rising to the top of the pile. All I bought this year was a Longchamp, which according to my husband "does not count" towards my total.

I like to stick to price points around 1% salary. I've learned I don't feel good if I cross that barrier.
Interesting on the salary limit! Although I am finding handbag prices inflating faster than our wages can match... :(

One a year for me, approximately 2k, give or take a couple hundred.

If i spend much more than that, then I wait two years.

Maybe some contemporary bags in between. I'm trying to actually USE my bags instead of staring at them and admiring (or hoarding). So until the bags I have start getting used in trying not to buy. I just bought an LV twinset and was starting to look at the retiro nm and stopped myself.

It depends... This year I've purchased three (Louis Vuitton Epi Alma PM, Gucci Disco, Prada BN1874), but some years I'll only purchase one or sometimes none! Last year, the only bag I purchased was a black Chanel WOC. Sadly, despite purchasing three this year, there's still one bag on my list... A black leather crossbody like a Celine Trio or LV Twinset, but we'll see... Once I have the basics covered with classics, I'll start saving for a bag like a Chanel flap so I probably won't purchase a bag for a couple years with those price increases...

I'm also trying to pare down my wardrobe focusing on quality rather than quantity. Because of this, I've been selling a large number of items which has helped fund most, if not all, of my designer handbag purchases.

I have to really use them too. Right now, my balenciaga city is my everyday summer/spring bag. My large givenchy pandora is my everyday fall/winter bag (fits my gloves, scarf, etc along with everything else!). I just sold off another bag bc I wasn't using it. And... That's about it for now. But I love each bag and am glad I can enjoy my expensive item daily. I'd LOVE to have more but my current sensibilities would rather put that money elsewhere.

I've been enjoying designer bags for about ten years now. I don't really have an average, but I don't think I could see myself purchasing more than 5 per year. The reason being is that I like to get lots of use out of a fave bag before moving on to the next.

About 3-4 premiere designer bags, plus 1/2 contemporary designer. I hardly buy SLG. But this year I bought extra of 15 bags n 1 SLG! All the extra r PreLoved though. Will buy a few more preloved then stop until 2016 [emoji7]
