How many bags do you purchase each year on average?

I guess I'll post what I've bought this year (at least to my memory. I might have missed some). I've never honestly really thought about it and don't really have any guidelines I stick to.

I'm very curious. How many designer purses do you buy on average per year? Also, what purses have you purchased recently?
I'm excited to see what you all have bought!
Personally, it's May (so 5 months into the year so far), I've only purchased one. I'm picking up my Chanel GST in two days!!!
The last handbag that I bought was December, and that was the croc embossed YSL monogramme bag.

Interesting question! I don't think I have an exact amount. For me, I think that I would potentially like to fulfil my wish list items and try other classic items/brands to see if they work for me. If I had an unlimited purchasing power then I'd do this right away (10+ bags or so).
After figuring out my core items I might become pickier about purchases. Maybe about 2-4 bags a year. I like buying to create a well-rounded, loved, and useable collection. So, that could lead to potentially lead to an exorbitant amount of purchasing one year and very frugal the next! My favourite recent purchase is an fuchsia epi alma bb, which I cannot get enough of.

I only buy 1 a year. I told my BF that if I buy the classic flap I won't buy another bag for two years since its 3x what I would normally spend on a bag...
I was thinking of getting an Alma BB. Do you like the epi? Do you think the leather is pretty durable?
You can never go wrong buying a Classic bag. I was going to get a classic flap last year but when I went to the Chanel store, I saw the classic Easy flap bag which looks very similar to the classic flap but definitely cheaper so I went with that instead. It's also easier to manage since its a zipper closure instead of the additional flap. Maybe you can get one of those instead of the Classic flap and get yourself another bag..or maybe two
