Not sure if I qualify as a true Hermes addict, just a decades old collector...bought my first scarf in the eighties and moved onto belts and bags. Now the gorgeous Hermes exotic handbags are on my radar for collection.....they are beyond beautiful and the ultimate in handbags IMO.

I started into hermes about 2 years ago. Currently had a clic h, a old medor bracelt, a chocolate cdc with ghw, a picotin, a twilly and a hermes birkin 35..

Hermes has too many beautiful items... can't say when my addiction will stop.

I have been addidcted to bags and shoes and went thru different designers but my Hermes addiction was forced on me as one nice SA told me that it is impossible for me to get a birkin .........and the rest is history i now have too many H bags to count but my love for H was in reverse order i came for birkin but stayed for beauty and craftmanship in their other products including scarves and shawls.......so for now it is endless :love:love

I am not obsessed to Hermes like I used to. I think I have enough bracelets, belts and watches from Hermes and I shouldn't buy or collect more. However, I am more of a 'purse person' and I still addicted to their bags. I hope to own a beautiful ostrich bolide one day. Having said that, I CAN live without Hermes. These bags and accessories things are just luxuries and we are very blessed to have them.

I've been addicted to Hermes for 35 years. Ouch that's a long time.

When I was 16, I wanted an Hermes saddle in the worst way. My Dad said no. It sparked a life long interest/obsession. I started collecting scarves in my 20s, SLGs in my 30s, bags in my 40s, and whatever i want in my 50s.

Thanks for bumping the thread up. That's a very thoughtful statement.

i like this post, well said latte.

i am using my H&M canvas tote (it was on sale too) all this week and i am loving it, i love the pockets and the print. as long as the bag works for me, i'll love it regardless of price and brand; and like you said, H is just a little luxury i indulge in.

It started at a young age, then only got worse when a friend got a job there!! That was when the sales had $25 ties so tells u how long ago that was!!

Now I find myself looking at the non bags more. I have too many gas already and pretty much covered the spectrum. I do look at other bags but do not spend more than $1500, since above tat I feel it could pay fr the wallet that I'll buy with my next awesome h bag. Lol

my addiction started 2.5 years ago when i bought myself a H bag as my b-day gift, then my passion on H was out of control. in 2.5 years i bought 12 H bags and let go 6 of them. today the addiction is still there and by making mistakes i know what model/colour fits me well. i am not sure how long the addiction will last and the magic is that now i don't even look at bags from other brands. H is miracle....

I started in earnest in January 2018. Now I visit the boutiques regularly. It’s been 15 days since I last set foot in one. I’ve already emailed my SA to say that I’ll visit after work today. I can’t stop .
