I've never had an addiction to any brand but I've always like the H scarves and the Kelly. My first one was a gavorche bought on a flight from Seattle over 10 years ago. Since discovering the forum, I've loved it more but still contain to their silks and bags. The only thing that will make me fell out of it is if the prices keep going up to a point that I've to stop.

I had to google this topic to make sure im not alone in what seems to be an 'addiction'. I am so new to H (a little over a month in counting) but i can tell you i google it every chance i get. I had to buy my starter bag the first week (black canvas/leather gp) and im in love! I then purchased an evelyne soon after and just ordered my picotin over lunch a couple of days ago. I find all the excuse to purchase 1st bag was for my upcomig bday and 2nd one was for this christmas and the 3rd one for just because. I have always been fond of designer bags since i was in high school vast collection of LV's and cc's but all my of seem not to compare with H. Even considering selling them for cheap just so i can fund my next bag. I really hope this addiction subside or im
Going broke these purses are soooo expensive! Promised myself to save for my kelly in the next 2 years and then in birkin in 5. Or ill just be content with my first 3! I hope i hope or i should look for another job to finance it.:(

15 years for me. Goes fast! I assume it isn't an addiction at this point, its just comfortably who I am. I have the bags I want, except for a Constance. That said, if the prices continue to go up, it will be more of a treat once a year instead of the scarf here and there and accessory when I feel like it, as it has been.

My H addiction started +20 years ago while living in Paris......after moves across continents, it is still going strong....but I do have a better control over the addiction now..... I CAN say no when a SA calls when a new Binkin comes in...:smile1:

thank you for reviving this Weak4purses, What an interesting topic! I have had
the "fever for around six years. I started with my Kelly and the addiction has just gotten
worse over the years. The more you learn about the brand and see the quality, you
appreciate your things even more. It's still going strong as I have added more bags,
SLG's, scarves, etc! I agree with Luccibag, when she says "there's no better move up"!

I think sometimes when you have a good friend that is also "an addict", it fuels the fire! :graucho: Also, I find the fashion magazines give me a "jump start"!:p
