How long is your City's shoulder strap?

I have no problem wearing my 05 AG city cross-body, and I'm not tiny. But it's a very tight fit for my 06 lilac city, which isn't very broken in yet, and is impossible for my brand new 09 officier city. I haven't measured the lengths of the AG or the lilac, but the officier strap is 19 inches long. I think it will stretch with time and use, but I also wouldn't be surprised if they are making the straps a bit shorter.

Strap measures 19 inches from end to end -- about an 8 inch drop -- I love this bag -- the leather smells sooooooo good -- falling in love all over again is nice!!

hi, I just got a balenciaga city from a sale.I believe the bag is authentic as I bought from a legal website's offline sale.

But I just feel a little uncomfortable about the shoulder strap.
It looks very tiny too me.
I mean the width.
Could anyone please help me out.
How width a city shoulder strap is.

I am so confused now.
