well im still alive lol he does feel name brand anything is silly but he really hasen't said much OH he did get in an funny situation once he stopped by the pet store and was waitng for her to bag some fish when one of the clerks said my purse was stolen a few days ago. And ill be dang my hubby said Oh was it the coach purse she about fell over how could he have known this. well he said I was here about a month ago when you were showing it off to the other women here and I sure as heck know what a coach purse looks like LOL my wife has tons..I didn't realize he knew I had quite a few until he told me this story.
How has my DH indulged me in COACH? He doesn't go out of his way to buy one for me, but he doesn't get mad when I bring home a new bag. Heh heh! I do have to give him some credit though--he'll tell me when he thinks the bag is not so good looking. When he says that, I return it...and then get something else!
My hubby COMPLETELY spoils me.. He doesn't buy me the coach purses as gifts, but he ALWAYS (To a fault) let's me get what I want.. and when we go to the outlets he always enables me.. says to get it.. and he stays strong with me through my crazy obsession.. Also, if I ever look at a cheaper bag, he'll be like "I would rather see you get a quality coach bag" Gotta' love that man.. as far as buying lots of romantic presents, he's not great, but I have learned over the last 12 years of marriage I would rather have the man that everyday says he loves me and treats me and our kids great then the man that just brings homes roses and chocolates.. but if you can have both, bring it on!!!
I definately have a keeper!!
My DH is an amazing man, and I'm grateful every day for him. After 15 years together, we let each other off the hook when it comes to buying gifts--except for Christmas, we just try to give each other the 'go ahead' when we want something for a special holiday.
I will say he's gone from "Why do you need an expensive bag" to "it's the one thing you really love, so enjoy it," which is really cool (that's part of where the DH: One coach bag = thread)...
The one time he brought me a bag was just recently. He had to go to Paris for work (tough gig, I know) and he came home with a beautiful LV batignolles horizontal he purchased at the flagship store there.
The fact that he made the effort to do that was very cool. I consider it my 'every year' anniversary present!
Oh, and he keeps quiet when I hit the outlet, which is all the support I need!
My husband and son took a nice long walk to the KB toy outlet during my recent (and first!) outlet visit. He only raised an eyebrow when I told him how much I saved (not spent!)
