Believe it or not for the all the years Ive been collecting Coach, I have never owned a wristlet. I just bought my first one tonite at Outlet. By the way ladies, my outlet gave me 10 % more off when i hit the door tonite. I was very surprised.

Anyway, i just bought the white patent OP Art Wristlet. I think it would up being like 30.00 or something very close to that.

I love the movie idea. Thanks for that. I will do that. I always refuse to sit my purse on the floor of the movie theater. So gross if you ask me. Sometimes i cannot find an open chair in front of me. My new wristlet i just bought will work great for that.

Agreed about the Movies. I just take my Zoe capacity wristlet (hold miniskinny, keys, and blackberry phone). I added the strap extender so I can wear it on my shoulder.

i use them when i go to events where it's unwise or inconvenient to put a purse down (concerts, crowded parties, etc)... they are great when at wedding receptions too since i tend to go back and forth to the dance floor

I have my classic IPOD, two sets of earbuds, a splitter, and the USB/TV wires in one. Then I have one with bandaids, aleve, alcohol wipes, neosporin, and other first aid stuff in another.

I currently have 2 wristlets and 1 on the way.

Black/Gunmetal Signature Stripe Capacity Wristlet is for medicines (motrin, vicodin for kidney stones), asthma inhaler, cough drops, etc. (I sound like one sick girl, don't I? lol)

Rose Legacy Leather Wristlet is for other various things - tampons, mini perfume, hair ties and pins, mini skinny (with cash and IDs).

Madison Wristlet is on the way and I have no idea what I'll use it for -- I'm sure I'll figure it out.

I use wristlets because they are generally cheaper than wallets and much more functional for me. I only have a driver's license and 1 credit card, so multiple card slots in wallets would be useless to me. Plus I generally use a mini skinny as a wallet. Holds what I need - 2 IDs and cash - and I find it's easier to get in and out of.

Wristlets ROCK!

Organizing purses is mainly what I use them for. One of my fave wristlets has card holders. I use that as my main one because it can carry money, cards, my phone and change. It's nice in a pinch to throw the essentials in. I also like how they can clip into bags. I use one a lot in the summer to clip into my beach bag. I've also used one to hold make-up before. It was nice when I traveled especially because you can clip them to straps and such so they don't get lost in the bottom of your bags. :)

Ooooooooh! I knew this thread would come back and bite me in the butt! :push: :laugh:

This was one of my first threads I've ever posted. I regret calling the Coach wristlet a "poor woman's wallet." Nevertheless, I have still not really found any good uses for any of my wristlets. I use my Clinique makeup cases and my latest acquisition--my Louis Vuitton Monogram Toilet Pouch 26 cosmetic case--for carrying my small items.

I found that wristlets don't seem to have the room to hold my stuff and that hasn't stopped me from collecting them because they're so cute.

Oh well, even after a year, I am still dumbfounded on what to use them for. I do notice above that many of you are quite good at using wristlets for storage of small items. I am still unconvinced of its use because I probably carry more than my fair share of stuff.

I've come to the realization that I have my stuff so well organized and I have ideas and expectations of my storage units (Cherry Handbag Organizer (with several pouches to store my much-needed small items that require easy access), Clinque makeup case (stores my important regular stuff like nail clippers, liquid bandaid, disposable contacts, eyeglasses cloth, allergy & antiacid pills, gum, Tic Tacs, etc.), Louis Vuitton Zippy Coin Purse (replaced my Coach mini skinny because it was also compact and had neat compartments), and my iPod in its impact proof case. The wristlet just didn't fit into my equation. I guess if I had less stuff that could easily tuck away into a wristlet, I'd gladly use it.

Oh well, it's just not in the cards for me to use a wristlet in my current life. :shrugs:

I began browsing the forum 'whats in your coach' and found myself soon lusting after a coach wristlet. I just purchased my first wristlets and love them. I hate digging around in my purse looking for tylenol or chapstick.

I had a small cosmetic bag from bath and body works and found the half dome shape with a zipper a nuisance to open when driving.

I now have a hampton turnlock wristlet and garcia legacy turnlock wristlet. They are gorgeous, easy to open, hold a ton and you can see everything inside. A must have if you ask me.

I have 4 (heritage gunmetal stripe, sig. w/geranium trim, sig. w/gold stripe 2009, & an op art melon which i find is more of a clutch, its so big!)

I always thought they were cute but useless but noooooo! I use mine all the time! I usually just slip some cash, cards (credit & my license), my phone, & a lipgloss! I like to take it wen i just got to run into a store or its great when i go on my boyfriend's motorcycle because its the only thing that will fit in the mini trunk! And if i get too lazy to empty it out, i toss it into a bigger bag & use it as a wallet! Ohhh i also use it as my digi camera case! Perfect protection! Me and my boyfriend went on vacation to Cuba in May and since its an all-inclusive resort, you never have to carry a bag. So i just stuck our room card and the camera in my wristlet and it was so easy and perfect to carry around! I want a poppy wristlet now!
