How do you store your keys inside your purse?

I keep my keys in a pouch

I use a mini skinny for my keychain and it fits perfectly in that inside pocket next to the cell phone pocket inside my Coach bags. So, that's where I always put mine. It never occurred to me that it would make my purse dirty.

What's a mini skinny?

Throw them in. I can't deal with all the zipping and pulling and snapping and unsnapping.

But honestly I don't get how you can ruin the inside of a purse with some keys. I've been doing this for years and nothing has ever happened to me.

Mine are on a Damier cles, so they're pretty easy to find.

I love a bag with an outside pocket for tossing the keys in. .

Me too - failing that I just toss them inside and dig for them later.

My bag has a built in key chain clip so i usually just attach them on to that or i clip it to my wristlet; but lately i have been useing my key chain to clip onto my wristlet, to keep the wrislet and keys in place .

No that I think about it, keys are kinda dirty, them getting tossed around, infecting all the other contents of your bag... i think its a good idea to store them in a wristlet or skinny and they'll also be easier to find as well!

The fobs for my car keys (I have two cars that I drive on a daily basis!) are too big to fit in a mini-skinny (which is a mini wristlet from Coach for the person who asked) or a key wallet so I just throw them in my bag. But I've started trying to throw them in the opposite direction to my cellphone!

Never gave this much thought but I just toss my keys in my bag. Seeing all these other suggestions, I may have to try one out!! Hey, it gives me a reason to buy something new!! WOOP

almost all my bags have some type of inner pocket, so i put my keys in one of those for immediate access b/c i hate digging through my bag for them. if there are no pockets, i just throw them in my bag.

I just toss them into a small pocket within the bag so it's easier to access without having to dig through the entire bag. I don't put it through any rings in the bag because I would hate having to detach it every time I use another bag. And that's often.

most of the time i just drop them in my purse and then frantically look for them when in need. LOL, i know not very smart. but some times i conciously think about it and put it in one of those small pockets. I don't like my keys in the main compartment sometimes because some of my accessories have nice hardware and i don't want it to be scratched up.

I just chuck them into my bag but I'm really considering getting something to put them in - I've just had past experiences where some items have incurred a few scratches from them (phone, ipod). But I DO think it's an extra effort to unzip, unclip my keys.
