How do you store your keys inside your purse?

I use a little Coach zippy. I keep my car key fob in the zip part. I have keyless start, so I can keep the fob in there and kind of forget about it. I keep the zippy in a slip pocket, exterior pocket, or clip it it a key hook, depending on what bag I'm carrying.

Depending on how frequently I need the fat keys, I usually keep it:
a) in an inside zipper pocket
b) in a key pouch (L.A.M.B. coin pouch)
c) on a retractable key fob that's hooked to hardware inside the bag, which is then placed into any of the open pockets in the interior of the bag
(c) is my preferred option. I have a Botkier with a long chain and I put my retractable key fob on it. It is super long and it reaches everything. It is always attached to the same spot, so I can even find it in the dark.

Well you're not necessarily "supposed to". But I just don't want my keys scratching up my wallet or poking holes in my bag lining.
Does your bag have an inside zippered pocket? I just let my big keys (car, garage clicker) float around and use a key ring with a dog leash clip for the others (in bags that have a ring to clip them to, I really miss it in my bags that don't). Nothing I have really seems to be damaged by this, but if you are worried then either get a wristlet for your keys or for the items you worry will be damaged.
I think a small wristlet might be the way to go. I'm afraid if I keep the car key separate from the house key I'll end up either locked out of my house or car.
i also use a separate pouch inside my bag, but it's a fairly large pouch (target/NM MJ leather pouch), since i keep my house keys separate from my car keys. so i keep both sets of keys, a lip balm and my cell phone in that large pouch and just leave it completely unzipped, so when i reach into my bag, i can reach directly into the pouch without having to dig for it.

They come in alot of colors......using red at present
Easy to just latch open and slip keys on and I just attach to the exterior hardware of whatever bag I'm carrying at the time.......easy on..easy off
